The food was representative of fusion cuisine but a few of the dishes had ingredients and combinations that missed the mark in terms of flavor profile and texture. In some cases, the dish was better when certain ingredients were removed.

Taste aside, the presentation of the food was excellent and the staff were 5 star in their service.

Unlike many other restaurants in Zurich, the cost seemed closer to the value of the meal. Had the dishes held up in flavor, this would be a 5 star review and a new addition to my recommendation list for visitors.

We truly enjoyed our Valentine’s Day dinner at L’amant. Thankful they gave all the couples the opportunity to eat out in a safe space on this very day! Their drink menu is just lovely and the food is absolutely fantastic! Big portion and very affordable price ✨

The whole restaurant has a very fancy kind of atmosphere which I have never felt the likes of before.

I ordered some Sake as it was an option I could not refuse. Though I ordered the wrong one as when I was given it, it smelled like soya. this is nothing bad its just that nobody has ordered in a decade.

The Heavensake is very good. My colleague ordered a coke, says it tastes the same as always.

I ordered a burger which tasted incredibly well. now it wasn't your ordinary burger it was a steak in between buns. They ask you how it should be cooked which I think is incredibly thoughtful. You receive some fries with them which are handmade and the skin is still on it. It tasted amazingly good. the fries are something to look forward to if you are coming to this restaurant.

My colleague ordered the Swiss Lachs.
He explained to me that he thought the Salmon tasted incredible and that he usually doesn't like lemongrass and the skin of Salmon but here he somehow really enjoyed it.

The toilets were magical. it was one of the cleanest I have ever seen. The men's toilet had the usual but it also had hand disinfectant and mouthwash. mouthwash, in case you didn't know, is incredibly hard to find in restaurants just like china's freedom of speech.

Opened recently as part of the Four Points hotel, the Blue Room restaurant ticks all the boxes. The food is excellent and you would not tell the difference between this restaurant and a 1 star Michelin one. The staff is very friendly and helpful. L'Amant is a jewel in Zurich, you will not find anything better then this at those prices.

Came here for a glass of wine and flammkuchen after watching a movie. Our server was extremely hospitable, friendly and paid good attention to detail.

The flammkuchen was great. Also noteworthy is that the bartender made margaritas for us, even though they’re not on the menu.

The interior is beautiful, and the lighting is perfect for a nice dinner.

The service is really good and the food is really tasty. If you're a chocolate lover, definitely try the brownies.

Been here only for breakfast and ordered a simple cappuccino and "gipfeli", so my comment applies mainly to the bar service.

Service was great, the cappuccino was properly made and the croissant was fresh, although tiny.

The only negative side is that they serve the cappuccino in a mug too tall and too narrow. As a result, the foam layer was just too thick and degraded the experience of an otherwise decent cappuccino.

If they could use cups with the proper height to diameter ratio, that would enhance the overall experience.
