Great, central location. Clean and quiet. Walking distance to the train station connecting to the airport. Many restaurants and city attractions nearby. Hotel Wi-Fi could be stronger and water a bit warmer. Room has a TV, safe, mini fridge, iron and hair dryer.

Avoid staying here in the summer. We stayed for 2 nights in late June. They put us on the top floor. The AC was a joke - didn't work at all. I get that it's not always necessary, but don't charge for services you're not actually providing. We tried opening the windows at night but this didn't help much. The mini fridge in the room didn't work either. The breakfast would have been really expensive for what we would have gotten, so we ate out instead. Otherwise, the room was fine and the beds were comfy, although the pillows they provided were pretty useless. I'm glad we brought our own. The location that can't be beat for convenience, just know what you're getting yourself into otherwise. A little overpriced for what we got.

We stayed in a twin room in July with u003e30° outside. The A/C was fine and the room was good except for the shower which was a bit cramped.

The location is EXCELLENT and the value for money at this hotel is great. I would skip the breakfast and go for a café or the Coop had great value across the tram station.

Recommended for everyone visiting Zurich!

Stay away from this place! I've heard from a dissatisfied customer at checkout that the A/C didn't work, the room was filthy and cramped, and even the chocolate fountain was downright disgusting.

And that's not all! When we arrived early, the front desk guy greeted us with zero hospitality. He had the audacity to deny us an early check-in, even though all the rooms were available. When we asked him to store our luggage temporarily, he callously claimed it was full and refused to help unless we coughed up a hefty $150 for a 2-hour early check-in. It's unbelievable!

We've traveled and stayed in numerous hotels across the globe, and guess what? They have always graciously accommodated early check-ins when rooms were available. But this place? They don't believe in such basic courtesy.

Find another hotel that actually values its guests, respects their time, and offers an experience worth every penny. Don't settle for less.

Do not stay here if it’s spring/summer! Spend the few extra francs and go somewhere else. They claim there’s a/c, but it’s a joke and waste of energy really. The room was unbelievably hot and we were absolutely miserable during our stay. They don’t offer fans to guests and I was made to feel silly for asking the desk if they knew where we could purchase one even just to use for the one night we had there. We were told to open the windows, which offered zero relief and no breeze just a very loud street making it even more impossible to sleep. My spouse and I basically took turns fanning each other all night and using a cold wet rag to try and cool down. We tried to take cool showers, but the drains were backed up and ended up making you stand feet submerged in who knows what. It was just gross. What an absolute disaster way to end the wonderful vacation we had in beautiful Switzerland. Stay far away!

The rooms are okay, but the air con doesn't work, the beds/pillows are uncomfortable, and they only have the small European power points so you can't plug anything in which is really frustrating. The WiFi is good, but the cleaner is pretty unpleasant, so watch out. There are probably better places you can stay in the city.
The girl at the front desk was really nice, but not really a great experience overall, I felt bad for her because lots of people were complaining and it's hard to deal with that, I hope she can find something better.
If you're here in summer you will cook, they don't seem to care to try and help you. Pretty bad experience for the cost.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were informed that despite booking a twin room (I was traveling with my mother) that no such rooms were available. The receptionist was very curt and really did not seem to care whatsoever - a very "not my problem" attitude. While serving us he was extremely rude to another guest who tried to check in who had realized that we were first in line. Overall, it was certainly not a welcoming experience. Later that day, I received an email from Expedia asking about our check in experience and I submitted my honest feedback. Later that evening, I received a call from the receptionist asking about our stay because "I read many things" meaning he had read my check in review. It was an extremely unprofessional, threatening and passive aggressive act of intimidation that only served to encourage me to write this review and post it on as many websites as possible. Not only would I never stay in this hotel again, I would never stay in any hotel by Fassbind (the parent company) if this is the sort of staff they hire and train.

In addition to our very poor staff experience, the hotel overall (though in a great location with nicely designed rooms) is very small and cramped (as are the rooms). The lobby is also the breakfast room and you can barely move around or get your items out of the elevator. The bathroom shower drain is directly in the bathroom floor and water gets everywhere. The AC us extremely weak even though we had it full blast. And other than the germ pot chocolate fountain in the lobby (which was never covered during our stay) there was not a single chocolate offered at checkin, checkout or awaiting us in the room - really quite laughable due to the name of this hotel.

All in all, this was the worst hotel stay I have ever had and DO NOT recommend whatsoever.

I have travelled all over the world and never have experience such level of inhospitality from a hotel management and lack of empathy toward tired passengers. At 2:00 pm, they would want to charge us 50 francs to give us the room that is ready and available because check-in is at 3:00pm. This is not a motel and they charge over 300 frances per night and have the audacity to refuse an hour early check-in which EVERY hotel in the world does if rooms are available. Breakfast is mediocre to non-existence. Avoid if you can find somewhere better.
