Definitely one of the best little places in Zurich! The vegan wurst is very tasty with lots of topping options! Also vegan ice cream from a farm. The vibe is very chill and funky. I have not tried the theater part, but the food is great! Worth a stop to check it out!

Nice cafe cinema in Zurich's old city. Good hot dogs. Movies usually in original language (like English). Just 50 or 30 seats in two cinemas. Upstairs more cafe seating and nice mosaic from famous bar.

Very small watching halls. The lobby is very tiny dark and a bit depressing. Well, if you like private room to watch a movie this might just be your place, but if you like the cinema feeling...then I wouldn't go here.

Edis winestube is always amazing to be . The owners are super friendly and as well the people who have worked there over all these years.

As a client who always goes for vegan hotdogs and who is always very well received by the staff I must say on the other hand the cinema itself was of a huge disappointment. The screening I was supposed to attend was canceled with no notice (due to another screening, of a film festival). No information about this schedule changing was to be found anywhere (either on their website, Facebook page nor even a simple written paper at the cinema door saying so). I even checked before going to the film. To arrive to your film to find something else being screened in place was more than just deceiving, it was very unprofessional and rude attitude towards their clients, totally inexcusable. If Stüssihof seriously wants to get in Zurich’s independent cinema circuits it definitely needs improvement. Better stick to Houdini, RiffRaff...

I don’t know about the cinema, but there is a hidden insider tip, which deserves more then 5 stars and this is the ice cream sold right outside at the Stüssihof Cinema Bar. This ice cream is absolutes inique. It surprised me to discover it here. It is the product of a family owned farm in the country side of Zürich in a little village called Illnau. The Vollenweider family have been producing this delicious ice cream for about 20 years and as I used to live in Effretikon, which is located next to Illnau our family nourished it self with the Vollenweider ice cream every day. It is so unbelievably good that you can’t stop eating. At the farm in Illnau they sell the big family size containers. They use all natural ingredients from the farm. For example the farm grown raspberries. If I’ll ever go into the ice cream business this will certainly be my partner.
