I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Vadian. The room was clean and up to my standards. Staff kindly took the time to issue me a Mobility Card.

We stayed in one of the apartments, not the hotel proper. There was plenty of space for us to stretch out in the evenings, and the kitchen and bath were both enough for us. Nothing fancy, but certainly comfortable. The elevator is delightfully old school (no spoilers). Breakfast was back at the hotel, about a block away. Good coffee and plenty of variety in fruit, cheese, and meats. No complaints really!

Excellent location, very clean and comfortable rooms. However, the check-in was chaotic because of covid (no breakfast vouchers in the room contrary to what was advised, no wifi password, no one at reception etc). Also, when you open a soap or shower gel and plan to use it, the following day the cleaning staff will throw it and put a new one - not very environmentally friendly. But I would still recommend this hotel and would stay here again if I come back to the beautiful city of St. Gallen.

So long story short, the breakfast vouchers nor the mobility card weren't placed in my room as advised in your email (that's a fact) and there was absolutely no one around (a reality). The key was already in the locker. I called your number, the person didn't know much but instead she came after 30 mins and at least gave me the wifi code. I don't remember at all having told you that I wouldn't arrive on time. For your information, I have stayed at other hotels that same week and the check-in was much smoother.

➖ Standard room (Single) was a bit cramped but clean and ok.

➕ Very nice, quiet location near the cathedral in the old part of town. Breakfast buffet is small but serves assorted local delicacies!

Such a great gem! Near old town and train station. Cute ad stylish room. Would definitely stay here again.

Awesome kind and lovely Hotel in the middle of the old city centre. The staff is really kind and helpful. Good breakfast and really good beds. Old fashion hospitality.

The big room is actually a WG (shared flat) which is all yours. But heater seems to be colder than it should be. The building I stayed, was 2 minutes away from the lobby and has a lift.
