Though the staff was very helpful in calling us a taxi in the morning and having croissants and coffee to go for us since we were missing breakfast, we were very frustrated with the check in process. We are a family of five and called ahead of our trip and asked if we could all stay in one room since our 5 year old can sleep with us. We were told that was fine, so we booked one room. When we arrived the day of check in, we were told that we had to book a second room because 5 was not allowed in one room. When we went to pay for the second room, we were charged double what we paid for the first room because it was “convention pricing” now. We were really disappointed with that. It’s not the Holiday Inn standard we are used to.

The hotel itself is nice and the rooms are very quiet. Which is amazing since the airport is right next door. Nice black out curtains as well.

I enjoyed the one-night stay at this hotel. It is next to the airport but there was no noise from the airport at all. The windows seem to be soundproof. The lobby is large and clean. The staff is nice and they speak English and French. Two things negative things I want to mention. First, the air conditioning is set at 16 and it could not be changed. I felt that the room was a little too warm but I could not do anything about it. Second, the breakfast options are too limited. Most of the items are sweet things. No eggs, no sausage or beacon -- only bread.

Stayed for 1 night. Easy pickup from the airport and check-in experience was quick and efficient. Room was a good size for the four of us and clean. No real view but its an airport hotel so nothing expected!
Breakfast was good enough but no hot food options that I could see.
Overall I was happy with the experience and value for money.

The hotel location allowed for an early car rental return (walking distance) with a short van ride provided. The breakfast was good and the room was adequate. The room would be better with more space to hang clothes and drawer storage. The single bathroom-toilet door was a bit awkward. No safe was provided and towels were marginal.

Excellent value. The hotel is clean, and rooms soundproofed. I am a light sleeper, so was concerned about airport noise. Totally quiet.

One suggestion is to allow guests to open windows. The front desk told me that all rooms in the hotel cannot open windows due to safety concerns. How about allowing the windows to slightly vent open? That would be a nice compromise

The hotel was extremely clean in all areas, including our room.
The staff in all areas were excellent, be it at reception, the breakfast area, room cleaning, helpful and very professional in all stations of the hotel. And a very good, in house, Airport to hotel and return, frequent shuttle service made things so easy.
We enjoyed our stay, conveniently located for the airport and the free transport system into the city.
Breakfast included was a bonus and very nicely presented with lots of choices.
We will stay again.

Comfortable bed and clean rooms with good blackout curtains. Great staff and very helpful. Travel pass is great. Tiny rooms with small beds at a very expensive price. Make sure you get questions answered in writing. Not suitable for family of 5 without booking two rooms.

Second time at this hotel but it will be my last. It’s around 15 minutes walk from the airport (you can take a shuttle), the building is showing its age now, the hallways are smelly and it just looks tired.

The bedding was really nice, but I didn’t sleep well as the bed was hard. TV very small. Biggest letdown was the breakfast, and I’ve stayed in so many hotels in this chain so I know what to expect. They didn’t even offer eggs, and there’s nothing hot. There’s very little to choose from at all.

I’m writing this review from the Holiday Inn Express Zürich airport - and the difference here is night and day.
