Descent hotel, very good price-quality ratio as for Switzerland. Not specific to the hotel, but they give you a free public transport card to attract more tourists

Was really really happy that they were so accommodating with our two last-minute early check-in requests. They also graciously held our luggage for 5 days while we were on a river cruise. Love the attached bar and restaurant and the breakfast room is wonderful. Rooms are small but absolutely do the job and were spotless. Mattresses a bit hard for our liking but overall another excellent stay and will book again!

On the outside it looks a bit old and not renovated.
Not good for wheelchairs
The rooms a nice, updated, comfortable bed. Bathroom design very cool, fun with the windows in the shower.
A bit small the room, but ok. Was very clean
Would go again

A basic hotel in a great location.
We stayed in a Premium Double room with one baby and one child of 3yo and it was provided with every single detail for a family. Breakfast was small but still ok, the best, the service, we had a great experience thanls to Francisco, someone who knows well how to do his job. Staff in general very helpfull and friendly. We d come back!

Fabulous first-class hotel. Did not sleep over. However, I enjoyed a super wine tasting by Ullrich of European wines.

Great location but many lights in room did not work and coffee maker leaked / was broken. Hotel staff was alright but not helpful when asked about where to go in the city. It was my sisters birthday and they didn’t offer anything to celebrate her. Nice views from room.

Always stay here when in Basel. Originally because it was an old haunt I'd visit with my Basel-based father, whether for jazz in the Sperber bar or otherwise. But now still my go-to due to perfect location in old Basel, great service from all the staff but an especially helpful reception team, and I really love the size and appointment of the room. I always get the same room so it's not exactly a sample but I'm sure they're all similarly well-appointed and laid out.
Chilled out and simple breakfast buffet downstairs, late night drinks possible in the lovely Sperber bar. And 50m to Marktplatz and its trams etc.

Modern hotel, very clean and quiet, attractive rooms, friendly staff. Location is absolutely great if you want to visit Basel Old Town, everything is within easy walking distance. Basel Old Town is great to visit, shops, restaurants, architecture, historic sites. We came a day early for a Rhine cruise with no knowledge of Basel. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.
