Fabulous Restaurant! The staff is incredible, and the food is wonderful. My wife and I had the Chef's gourmet menu. It started with a lobster bisque; some of the best I have ever had. I had the meat option, and my wife the fish option. Both were excellent. The meal ended with a gingerbread ice cream.

Will certainly visit again the next time we visit Basel.

The tartar was one of the most delicious dishes I've had. The service was ever-so slightly off on a busy night and we needed to repeat several requests.

Definitely want to return and try more of the menu based on the quality of the food.

Basel, center to many activities and things to do, there is the Hotel Basel, Brasserie Steiger and bar Sperber, all in one.
Very friendly service by a team of people working there since a long time. A terrace to see and be seen. A good choice of food, attractive wine list, and some intriguing sweets.

We ordered a sausage salad and some veggie ravioli. I was expecting the ravioli to be more consistent than the salad but in the end it was the opposite. Both were delicious even if the prices are a bit high. Staff was very Swiss German; nice with some distance. The place is located in a quiet and nice area of Basel. Beware the bees on the terrace!

Open late,which is a bonus as Basel can be a bit dead on a weekday after 9pm.
Had a good tartare and my partner a cordon bleu, overall a bit expensive but tasty.
Service was very good and multilingual.

First muscles I've seen in the city and they did not disapoint. No booking but got in ( table for 1) Very enjoyable meal.

Nice place to eat at Basel. The hamburger with pumpkin chutney is a must! The Aldo hace great pasta options and a nice tartar.
