The food is good, the selection of wine is appropriate. However, paying 300 CHF for 2 people and still waiting 45 minutes to eat, after almost begging to receive our food, is not excusable. No apologies from the manager, no discounts of any sort, had to ask twice or trice for the bill. Definitely to avoid.

It was okay. Whilst the presentation and service was excellent, I can't help but be disappointed with the steak which lacked in flavor, taste and crust. Even more so disappointing as the uncook cuts looked nicely marbled and the coal fire grill on full display just seemed like this was going to be a slam dunk. Really appreciated the fact that staff came to show us the slabs of meat they would cut our steaks from but that might have given away the fact they were clearly not seasoned for long enough before cooking. Sides were good and the dessert was very tasty. Effectively everything was great... Except the steak. I suspect this was most driven by underseasoning and a fix could take the place up to four or five stars.

Nice meat indeed. Side dishes were very delicious too. I liked the their grilled vegetables and sweet potato fries. You should be very clear on how well do you like your steak and let them know. Service was wonderful too.

All our food and drinks were great. The server helped us order the right amount of food for the three of us. Meats were being grilled in an area visible to us adding to the charm. We were waiting for someone to bring us a check and then one of the owners/managers came out to say that he had a large group coming. Well ok, bring us the check and we'd be outta there. Chalk it up to just everyone being unfamiliar with each other's expectations. Overall we had a good time.

My god… need more eyes to the guests. The service person saw us ready with our menu and was ready to order but still no where to be seen. Waited more than 20 minutes. The guy gives food to the 2 tables beside us but us NO. Like said, need eyes. We reserved it, doesn’t ask anything. Just ask how many people and let us sit. Why to reserve a table online if we can just go and sit ????. Should be joking around with wasting 5 minutes of our time.

Steak was extremely overpriced, under seasoned, under weight, and overcooked. Service was some of the worst I've experienced. The restaurant was dead and now I know why. Stay away at all costs!

Probably this comment I think is more for not swiss people but more for the tourists:
The restaurant is reeeeeeeaally expensive for the quality of the meat and the general service!!!! The meat was very good, but, for example we paid a lot of money but the sides dishes were not included !! I've never seen that, normally if you take a steak you have a small salade or french fries... The two small glass of white wine was good, but the red one not so much.
But the worse thing was that the prices were not clear at all and we had a very bad surprise at the end!

Recent years saw a resurge of the classical steakhouse. This restaurant is one of those who kept the best traits of this kind of establishment and took away the rest.
You will get personal, prompt and excellent service. Customer is King, name your wish and they will try to make it possible.
Food is amazing. I am by no means a foodie but this ticks all the right boxes for me.
Prices are high. Certainly can be rationalized away with the quality or the fact that this is within Zurich but the fact remains that this is a treat and not something for everyday. At least for me.
