I have been working with Roy Macdonald for a few months and I absolutely love the treatment and its progress. I came in for a knee issue and ended up rethinking my balance, breathing pattern and hip stability. It truly is a holistic treatment, and especially valuable for people who enjoy movement in various forms (such as running, yoga, pilates etc.) - it will open your mind!
Side note: the waiting room is so beautiful!

It is hard to find a good doctor in Zurich today and if you read this review you probably have the same problem.
We have a 2 and half years old kid and my wife has been having for 3 months strong lower back pains. We thought is was because of the weight. Sometimes she couldn't even raise herself from the bed in the morning.
She had a lot of disappointments regarding doctors but this couldn't go on any longer so I made an appointment to Roy Macdonald.
We went together, the kid slept through the entire consultation which is unusual and for her it turned out really well.
He found the problem and gave her a few tips how to calm the pain if it comes back.
One consultation was enough and 2 months have passed and she had no more issues without any medication. When it comes back the tips are enough to calm the pain.
Compared to other doctors he listened patiently to our fears and researched even the medication that my wife takes to see if it could be the trigger.
To be honest the man did everything and more.
This is why I fully recommend him and I hope it works out for you.

After trying many different treatments and specialists over the years, I had the chance to stumble upon Osteopathie Central in Google. I came to their clinic barely being able to move my back and neck, and already in the first session, Mr McDonald was able to alleviate the pain and get rid of the stiffness. Even better he also gave me the "tools" to prevent relapses myself. I can only strongly recommend it!! As an aside, worth mentioning is that the clinic is elegantly decorated with a tasteful minimalist (but warm) style.

I have been a patient of Roy Macdonald for a few months. He took care of my law back pain that had been going on for a few years. I found him extremely professional. He could alleviate the pain but most importantly he taught me a few exercises to do myself to manage my pain. He is very caring and empathetic and was always very prepared to address any questions I had. I would recommend him

I go to Osteopathie Central since a year and a half, initially to treat my migraines. Roy MacDonald is very professional, very helpful and he explains (with the amount of details you want) what he is doing and why. He really helps me to understand better where does the pain come from and how to avoid it. He never pushes for more treatments and gives many suggestions for exercises to do at home. He is specialized in women health and managed to decrease drastically my period pain (which did not come back since last June). I highly recommend him.

I have been under treatment with Mr. Roy Macdonald in the last 12 months to relief my lower back pain that was lasting for more than 3 years. He is very professional and he taught me many exercises to improve my clinical situation, but also how to maintain a proper posture at work and, in general, he gives many advices on how to improve the quality of your life. I have to be honest, some pain is still present, but I am glad that Mr. Macdonald provided me the right instruments to fight my lower back pain.
I would strongly recommend him for this matter.

I visited Mr. McDonald a year ago, cause I was suffering from low back pain. In 3 visits he could alleviate my pain and he also taught me how to sit correctly and how to perform breathing exercises so that my muscles are relaxing. I highly recommend him, he is an excellent professional and very kind as a person.

I do a regular osteopathic work with Roy Macdonald for almost 2 years and I can only recommend his professionalism and his kindness.
He is specialized in woman's health and pregnancy. I am currently pregnant and I feel very well supported. He knows exactly how to help and gives a lot of advices and exercises that I can do at home. His approach consists in treating the body globally and not only the painful part. Which makes the treatment extensive and efficient.
Moreover, the praxis is a peaceful place and everyone is extremely friendly.
