Both the emergency department and hospital stay for our daughter has been first class. All the nursing staff are extremely nice, friendly and caring for our daughter. The Hospital is extremely relaxed with a calm atmosphere making it the perfect place to make a recovery.

one minus star because Frau LANDOLT was very rude and disrespectful. I was waiting in the emergency room and my baby was sleeping and there were only mainly teenagers in the waiting room. She wanted to put a child film on the small TV and I asked her kindly that if she could leave it as my baby was sleeping and had to go through a tough morning due to an accident, plus, I felt others in the room would not mind it anyways (it being anyways a child film). She looked at me with a lot of disrespect and disregarded my concern and said “I am still going to put it on, if you don’t like it, you can go sit far away (pointing to the hallway)” whilst adding - sarcastic comment: “is it always so quiet in your home?”. The main complaint here is her extremely rude commentary and overall arrogant behavior which made my time in the notfall centre very uncomfortable.

I would not recommend this hospital if it weren’t for the good and quick service from the Assistenzarzt Herr Rüegg. He was very professional.

No waiting time at emergency and radiology, excellent staff with nurses and doctors, all very friendly and effective. Child treated like a prince. Better not possible. Tks a lot

It’s difficult for me to believe that race was not among the triage factor at the emergency room as we were the only Asian that night and we were triaged as the last while my nephew (2.8yr) could not breath well that his oxygen saturation level dropped below 90.

I visited the emergency room with my nephew and we waited almost 2 hours until nobody else was in the waiting room.

My nephew was not among the most severe kids that arrived at the emergency that night but he has problems to breath. And there were many other kids with mild symptoms came after us but still got the doctor checkup earlier.

I saw some of them leaving before we finally got called in, while my nephew had to stay in the inspection room until 9 in the morning because his oxygen saturation level dropped below 90 percent at some point.

Also when I asked the nurse if we can get the checkup sooner as my nephew’s breaths stayed loud and tight, the nurse told me that she doesn’t speak English. But she just finished charging a guy his bill in English.

We have came with a 12 month daughter to the emergency with already diagnosed pneumonia, and with ready to apply antibiotics, previously given in permanence. Took 4h to look at the images and 7h to give the antibiotic to a child with 39,5 temp and saturation going down to 85. Staff would come only on request and clearly not prepared.

It’s not that somebody was unprofessional it felt like they would need minimum twice the size of the staff to be able to deliver care with decent quality. Very sad picture…

Fix it now before it will be too late for somebody.

We came in the emergency for an emergency stool check for our 6 months daughter. (Pretty simple and regular check for babies)

We arrived and checked-in at 13:00 at the emergency. The doctor saw our daughter at 16:00 o’clock. Still at 18:00 we are just waiting in the room without any information. We contacted twice the nurses and asked for the doctor or for a status update for how long will we be waiting and nothing…

5 hours and counting and no information from anyone…

I wouldn’t mention the international triage / prioritisation system because it’s obvious that it’s not working!

1. Read your reviews in google (either you are understaffed, or the triage system is wrong or management doesn’t care!)

2. You are called emergency for a reason! 6hrs for an emergency treatment it’s not emergency

3. Babies and especially below 6 months are more critical than every other patient. Additionally, babies cannot withstand staying and waiting for 6 hours until someone remembers to check them

4.Most important of all! There is no information at all about the waiting time, how long will be waiting just simply no status update! We are just left waiting without information which is unacceptable and disrespect of our time!

I have no word to thank all the amazing work of the medical staff of the Kinderspital of Zürich. Such a hard work, studies, lifestyle and they save lives of our kids!

My 11 months baby Aiden got a very severe meningitis in December. We stayed one month between intensive care and inpatient room.

THEY SAVE HIS LIFE! While I was powerless to help my baby survive.

Then we spent two month in rehabilitation Zentrum. Despite the severity of sickness of my kid, the staff is super professional, always well-informed and I trust them fully.

My life would have been a trauma without their knowledge and dedication to save my baby!

I am deeply thankful ????
There not words to share my gratitude ❤️

My baby is now 17 months and he has fully recovered no neurological damage so far. Life is back to normal and this is the most amazing thing in my life.

Been there with my kid for surgery. All went well, from the initial visits till the post-surgery activities. They postponed the surgery one time because of the large number of patients but is clearly written in the letter that this hospital needs to cope with critical cases!
