I had to do an eye test to convert my UK driving license into a Swiss one and I found this place online. I emailed them and I booked an appointment for the next day.

The service was very friendly and efficient. I was in and out in 5-10 minutes max and prices are fair.
Overall, very positive experience and I would highly recommend Gautschi Optik

I have now been a client for over 2 years and I have always had an excellent service. Today, I have received my new bifocal glasses and everything was just perfect. I highly recommend Gautschi Optik, they value their client and you will not be disappointed.

Stephan and his entire staff are so very welcoming, warm and amazing. I was very amazed with his calmness when I walked in fretting and wondering if my broken frames could be repaired. He reassured, calmed me down, took away my glasses and returned within a short time with a repaired glasses. The surprise? He declined to accept any payment for all this work. Certainly a first in Zurich in my opinion and I could not stop thanking him. Great guy and I recommend him highly!!!

Outstanding service, skills and professionalism! These guys take service to a different level, it's so top notch that I felt like I was in a James Bond laboratory where a car was being catered to my specifications. My vision is complicated to correct. I am badly near sighted, with an astigmatism in both eyes, plus oversized oblong eyeballs (sexy eh?) which means that off the shelf contacts for astigmatism simply do not fit well enough to work. For 20 years, I've worn glasses which correct for astigmatism on top of regular contact lenses to see. But my vision has never been great. Until Gautschi! Andreas was patient, professional, good natured, thorough and wonderfully informative about my options, and once I decided, he made my glasses with so much precision, measuring everything, that when I finally put on my new glasses, I was in shock. The clarity was unbelievable. I had no idea how poorly I'd been seeing with my previous glasses until Andreas brought me back into the light! I'm thrilled and I can't recommend this place enough. You won't find anyone better in Zurich.

Good service , reasonable price , staff super friendly and good knowledge. If you are looking for service/repair or new spectacles I would definitely recommend to visit Gautschi Optik.
