One of the best restaurants I have been to up until now in 2019, if not the best. This is somehow expensive, but it's worth every penny. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the food it's one of a kind, the place is quite small and cramped but we have never felt for one second that we do not have enough space. You do need reservation because being a small place it's better to be on the safe side.

Nice local food with creative receipies. Chef adapts to various intolérances and uses seasonal products. Best suited for veggies and meaties.

I can comfortably call Dreierlei my favourite restaurant in Zurich after three visits. The menu is not long but changes a lot, is just experimental enough, they seem to have a lot of fun with flavours and ingredients. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and warm. As someone that loves to cook, I often feel disappointed when I go out, but never here. It’s a real gem in this town.

Dreierlei has a very warm feel to it. The dishes that you order are placed in the middle of the table so you can share them with your friends. It's great because you can order whatever you like - for instance three entrées and one main dish - without anyone having to wait! Besides, the service was great. And I don't mean great for Zurich, but genuinely good (the waiter looked for eye contact and came smiling).
The creative and delicious dishes are made from seasonal ingredients. The menu only lists the ingredients for the dish and not the way it's made, which makes for a safe surprise every time. The portions are not huge but are definitely worth their value.
I loved the place and will be back!

After planning on visiting for some time, I finally took my first trip to Dreierlei last night. This has to be one of best bites in Zürich. The staff and execution are amazing. That said, you should know what you're getting into before visiting.

This is very much a cozy, friendly foodie-focused venue. The value is in the artistry and delivery of the overall experience. Here you're family. Several reviews knock the place for it's portions and prices, and I personally think that cognitive dissonance comes from a lack of understanding.

My wife and I are very much looking forward to visiting again, thanks team - job well done!

Simply put, a new favorite in Zurich. Creative approach to a variety of flavors and seasonal ingredients, which is great for a small-medium plate restaurant. Friendly staff. Very much recommended.

Service: super friendly but overworked
Food: a lot of thought and hard work gone in. However, too small portions and VERY high price. Had to go for a night snack after :-(
And some mixtures and textures just don’t work.
Really recommend making the mains at least a bit more substantial so it feels up the hunger.
