Really nice and welcoming restaurant, however service was not the best for the price you paid at the end. There was only two people taking orders.

We had dinner outside on the terrace. Great spot for a glass of wine and something to eat. I especially liked the fresh pasta dish. Friendly service as well!

Balanced contrasts. I enjoyed the vegan tavolata, which used various pickles to add sweetness, acidity and crunch in pleasant contrasts to the dishes' mellow, earthy or soft elements. Desserts subtly flavoured, instead of sugar-bombs. Sommelier's glasswise suggestions were exciting.

Four courses over 2 hours for 69 francs (exc. wine) seems good value for food and people-watching in Zürich.

Will be back for food, and the wine-bar.

This modern Italian restaurant offers a changing daily menu. The food quality was great. Friendly and fast service. Good portion sizes.

Glad I gave them a second chance after they failed on my first visit (where they forgot my soup for so long that I had to cancel my main course). The risotto was good, just overly spicy. Service was very personal and kind, both times.

A warm evening in July 2014 was perfect for a stay at Restaurant Certo. Many tables outside were free and inviting us to sit down enjoy a good meal. The welcoming of the lady with the black hair was not very friendly. We had to move to another table because ours wasn't set (cutlery, glas and a paper serviette). So we moved. The table with the cover was dirty from a day's car pollution. The lady meant, after I asked her to clean it, that the table has a rough surface...no not the surface was the problem. The serviette had a black imprint from the dirt. However, the lady was in the typical Zürich-what-should-I-care-about-guests mood. Continue to be unfriendly and righteous. Exactly, how you do not want to be served. However, on the good side was the food. Excellent chicken dish and on pair was the southern Italian cod dish. Also the "cat tongue" desert was nice. I would like to come back but only with a friendly waiter.

I had a 4-course dinner with friends and we spent around 100.- each. I got my salad first, and then I was brought my starter (pasta) 2 minutes AFTER my main dish which had a side as well. The server waitress (not the one taking the orders) was incredibly rude and snapped back saying she only had two hands. Absolutely unprofessional. The food itself was just average. Meat was served rare even though I asked medium-rare. Also, the walls are incredibly dirty with stains of food (I hope). Certainly made a bad impression and I will not be going back.
