A wonder for the palate of young and old. We had a really good time. Exquisite service and vast menu to satisfy anyone.

Good food. Servers at the restaurant were very polite and helpful. Plenty of vegetarian options. Some vegan options as well. Lot's of varieties in food.

Main dish was OK, a bit bland tastewise for me.
Toblerone mousse for dessert was super tasty.
Service was great. Atmosphere was very lively and bit loud depending on the number of guests.

Manager forced us to pay for half of a meal (burrito) after I took one bite and returned it, because it was a disgusting, sloppy mess and the filling was still partially uncooked and cold. Never in my life have I ever heard of a restaurant forcing customers to pay for half the meal, when they had a legitimate issue with the food, and barely ate any of it. When my date tried to reason with the manager, he cut him off, tried to argue that of course the vegetables might still be cold on the inside? And if I had a problem, they could have reheated it? There was no logic in any of his excuses. After we left, someone made him realize that I had ordered another meal afterwards (which was still not good, but at least edible), and he had one of his waitresses chase us down to give the other half of the money back, from a meal I didn't eat. Of course he had one of his waitresses do it, instead of him. Because talking to us, apologizing for the misunderstanding and terrible experience and customer service would have been the decent, professional thing to do. Never ever ever eating here again, and will be passing this info on to my colleagues at Theater Winterthur. There is nothing "authentic" about anything they're serving, let alone edible.

Ive eaten there several times in the span of a year (minus quarantine), and the food just consistently underdelivers. They have a huge space so I appreciate that the staff is very nice even when its hectic at certain points of the day/evening, but the food can still only be described as slop, and overpriced at that. It not only has nothing to do with Mexican food in look or taste, it also just isnt at all tasty as food in general. No spices, no flavors, unfortunately very bland. Beautiful garden though!
