This store is so odd to me because it seems fully stuck in the past. Shelves are dusty, no new exciting products, just the same old (overpriced) range. You either get an employee that is very friendly or very rude, no inbetween.
As some reviewers said, the online store is not related to the actual stores, which is just bizarre.

The problem - wrong price displayed at the shelf where there was only 1 product. If I hadn't noticed the problem at the cashier, I would have bought a product for 5,00chf more expensive than I thought. How many more other people didn't notice and paid that over 5.00chf? I felt like being robbed so I gave up all the products I had selected to buy and informed the manager how I felt. So, in case you go shopping there, pay attention to the displayed prices x cashier otherwise you could have a bad surprise!
This is really pity because Douglas is such a big store but I can't buy stuff in a place I don't trust anymore.

Worse service ever! The shipping was never delivered and no refund during 1 month. 5 times called to customer support and every time they have a new story why my package is missing and promise to give a refund next day. No money after 1 month!!! SCAMMERS

I bought some refill a week ago and was given the wrong item. As I didn't expect to be given wrong item plus not checking it myself, I threw the receipt. I discovered it of course a week later when I want to change my eyebrow pencil. Went back without receipt and told them the situation and was given the correct item without hassle and 2 staffs were very friendly and helpful. I must say, I was exceptionally satisfied with the trust and attitude of the 2 staffs that attended to me. Good job!

Ich war heute im Douglas und wollte nur kurz zwei Nagellacke kaufen. Ich habe beide Nagellacke genommen und bin noch etwas im Laden herumgelaufen, um zu schauen, ob ich vielleicht noch etwas Interessantes finden würde. Eine Verkäuferin (kurze braune Haare & Brille) kam zu mir und wollte mir einen Einkaufskorb in die Hand geben. Daraufhin sagte ich ihr, dass ich keinen Korb benötige.

Sie antwortete mir mit den Worten: "Jeder Kunde erhält von mir einen Korb, damit wir sicherstellen können, dass kein Ladendiebstahl stattfindet." Daraufhin antwortete ich, dass ich es nicht nötig habe, etwas zu stehlen. (Funfact: Ich arbeite selber in einer Parfümerie)

Daraufhin machte sie einen sarkastischen Kommentar wie: "Ja, Sie haben bestimmt überhaupt nicht nötig, etwas zu stehlen."

Das Interessante daran war, dass ich die einzige Person im Laden war, die einen Korb tragen musste.

(Es schien Vorurteile auf höchstem Niveau zu geben.)
