Went with the family and had a nice homely Italian meal. The portions are of a good size. We tried the pizza, spaghetti and the fish. Service was friendly and quick.

There are always 4 lunch menus, and one is always pizza ????.
Pricing is not bad for the location, and dessert is included as well.
Sitting in the back is mostly better because of better service personal and nicer atmosphere.

Its ok, service is friendly and especially men like the big portions of food you can get here. For me it's a bit too much on the heavy greasy side, I would prefer a smaller portion of food at a better quality. Well located very close to the Wallisellen Train station inside the little mall.

It's good, quick, fair prices (for Zurich) and an Italien flair.
The pizzas are not the best here though, I therefore have to leave out one star.

Il Faro has been the go-to for Italian food in the northern suburbs for at least 40 years. They have multiple restaurants. I've always enjoyed their pizzas. So, what could surprise me? I had never eaten lunch at il Faro, only dinner. What a super bargain! I ordered menu 2. First, I got a lovely soup, then a salad, then a big salmon filet with rice and broccoli and then a dessert. All of this cost CHF18.50! It was all perfectly cooked. And I was in and out in 55 minutes. Il Faro in Wallisellen will certainly be seeing my face again ????

The food was definitely too expensive for what we got, which was mediocre at best.

Good Italian. Good service and food if you do not want to spend the day there. Fairly priced
