This place is great. The views are spectacular. The room is spacious and the included breakfast was delicious and filling. The water pressure in the shower was the best ever. The staff was really friendly. The restaurant downstairs seems like a gathering place for the people who live in town. Staying here gets you discounts at local sites and attractions, which I didn't know until we already had the room.

A caveat of the charming church bell across the street is that it will chime every hour through the night. Also, there's no air circulation so I plan to look for a fan before sleeping here tomorrow.

This is a great place to spend a vacation. A nice mountain breeze offsets not having an aircon.

There is a lot to see in the immediate area: old churches, endless mountainsides, and the suspension bridge.

If the heights are too much, one can explore the nearby farms and see the sheep and horses.

Plentiful items for breakfast. The staff was helpful throughout our stay. It's definitely worth the trip.

Noisy Nightmare at an Overpriced Hotel

I recently had the misfortune of staying at Bären Sigriswil.

As someone who paid over 400 CHF for a peaceful night's sleep, I can confidently say that this hotel failed to deliver on its basic promise.

From the moment I checked in, it became evident that noise would be an ongoing issue during my stay. The hotel's location seemed to be a magnet for all things noisy. First and foremost, the walls of the hotel seemed to have paper-thin insulation, as I could hear every conversation and commotion taking place in the adjacent restaurant. The fact that the restaurant operated after 23:00 made matters even worse. Despite being exhausted, I was bombarded with the constant clamor of people chatting.

To compound my frustration, the hotel's proximity to a nearby church became an additional source of annoyance. Instead of waking up to a peaceful morning you take part in the hit song bells of Nother Dame ????????????

I would strongly advise anyone seeking a peaceful stay to look elsewhere, as this hotel clearly fails to deliver on its promises of good night sleep.

Edit- ohhh no thanks, 400CHF for maybe being able to sleep is not a good opportunity for me, I prefer to spend my money somewhere else.

Stay one night over here .
Spacious room with beautiful balcony and view .
Staffs are very nice .
Breakfast are nice also .
Walk around hotel in the early morning with refreshing air , this is lovely .

3 min walk to a cable bridge where the famous K Drama “ crash landing on you “ was filmed on the bridge .

Definitely recommend come to stay here over other hotel nearby.

We spent a weekend here, it was off-season so we got a room upgrade which I am so grateful for.
The view from the upper apartment is breathtaking.
The staff were so friendly and kind.
I want to go back here already.

The hotel is situated near to the iron bridge which is very famous tourist attractions.
Outside the hotel there is bus stop, and in the morning you can see horses are gazing in front of your hotel. The view from the hotel is mesmerizing.
I would love to stay again in the same hotel. The lady in the reception was very kind and helpful to tell us about the place and spots to visit.
Nice stay.

We just checked out a while ago and I am quickly writing a review for this wonderful hotel nestled in between beautiful mountains! Stayed there with my family including a 3 year old and a 5 year old. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Amazing staff, wholesome breakfast, tasty food at the in house restaurant, toys for my little ones to keep them engaged and beautiful spacious rooms with a view. And if you ever stay here do make use of the sauna and the whirlpool/jacuzzi - our family had a wonderful time here. We had rented a car so we moved around easily even otherwise there is bus stop right in front of the hotel. Also, if you come with the family them ask for the family room ???? it is just perfect!!

If you've got your own car it's a great quite place, short walk to the swing Bridge.
