I give 5 stars cause this still seems a unique old cinema. Service is great, it is a few minutes away from the main train station in Luzern. Parking seems difficult. I really enjoyed coming here. Learning german in a german movie is great. Stuff is super friendly, its more than enough space in there to sit. It has no drink holder but totally fine. Its charming and great. I was even abel to get an Hugo there and lots of sweets.

A family movie 2 or 3 times a year. The seats and sound system is great! Nothing like a cool action movie ???? with their freshly made popcorn ????. Blue Cinema Capitol is our favourite!!

Staff are mostly friendly and helpful. Some speak English..but will happily let you practice your German without switching..which I find pretty cool :-)
English movies come with subtitles, and as with all Swiss cinema, you get these breaks right in the middle of the movie. I’ve gotten pretty used to that over the years..but in case it’s you first time, be prepare for the screen to black out just at a critical plot twist in the movie ???????? ( sometimes Follower by groans in the audience ) - Enjoy!

Worst image quality I have ever experienced in a cinema! Saal 1, Suicide Squad: image is blurry, actions scenes are barely distinguishable...
Sits are pretty uncomfortable and shabby...
To stay away from this venue is a best advice.

Very nice cinema, sound system and view angle is perfect, also snack bar is good enough to buy what you might need for whole movie.

Had to wait 20min in line to get the COVID CERT checked because it was only one guy. I pay 20Chf per ticket, the least I can expect that this process is either automatised or you hire more staff. Unbelievable!
