Outstanding! Probably the best thermal bath I have been in Switzerland. It is designed in a similar style as Vals, smaller, but has many interesting corners and features. The indoor outdoor pool is just amazing w infinity pool view to the lake and mountains. The Aufguss for the Turkish bath is a nice surprise, don’t miss it. They provide honey sugar scrub for your face and salt for your body for a self skin peeling session. The cafe has simple food but the smoothies they provide are pretty good. Just come during the week to avoid crowd. For us it was really a lovely experience. No phone inside.

It's now my favorite of the group. Water temperatures are just right, and saunas are super!!! The view itself it's very relaxing. Staff at the reception and bistro are very friendly.

First impression on Termail Salini in Locarno does not meet the expectations of their sister spa in Hürlimannbad, Zurich; or others in Switzerland.

Entry was seamless, clean, and the lockers were easy to manage. The “spa” feeling was comparable to a hurried water park entrance and exit. Thankfully there were blow dryers.

When you enter the spa there are several visible stone levels for thermal baths to enjoy. We didn’t notice the change in the temperature with any of the baths. The outside has a beautiful view of the lake complete with visuals of the public walking their dogs or enjoying the outside. As with the typical baths there are outside seating with bubbles on the seats. There was even a cigarette not discreetly hidden with a lighter in one of the palm trees. We enjoyed each of these levels before our private couples massage upstairs which was over 400e total.

Upstairs they only offer you water and tea. We noticed people in robes, but this was not offered at the time of check in. When we were escorted to our room the duo masseuses did not leave the room but held up towels for us to undress with cotton g strings. However, during the 70 min massage we were basted with oil on the black plastic beds. Zero interaction with pressure and basically pouring oil from clear condiment bottles. Our arms kept slipping and I had visuals of falling from the bed when we turned over. Afterwards we were asked to robe without placing our bathing suits on, so we hurried up then walked downstairs with our bathing suits in hand to the bottom floor to enter the nude adult sauna. More men than women in the bleachers facing each other. This is normal apparently, but the space provided for a relaxing instead clouded with low audible grunting for space. Sadly this was disappointing for the entire experience. Not a wonderful recommendation for the amount paid vs the experience in Zurich which we will return this week. However, there are many other reviews that actually enjoy this kind of experience.

Bought a package on their website for entry to baths, saunas + a massage.

Overall we really enjoyed our day there. The baths are beautiful and very enjoyable. We really liked the large connected outdoor pool facing the beach, lake & mountains with various nice water features.

The sauna experience was nice, though we wished there was a hot sauna that wasn't so bright. The sauna relax room could benefit from a real door rather than a curtain because there's a lot of noise coming in from the passage of people in front of it.

The 50 minute massage was nice though as I felt it was a little too gentle, I kindly asked if it was possible to have a little more pressure and was told it was not possible because the massage was standard and everyone needed to receive the same treatment. I've had lots of massages in lots of circumstances and it's the first time I don't see a therapist and their management keen to adapt the massage to the customer's taste.

Finally, the website is really confusing. So many packages with slight nuances between the different options and you have to click through each to get the description. A la carte would be much simpler, and if you're keen on offering packages, please have a table that clearly shows what each package contains vs. the others and a la carte to make it much easier to choose.

I leave two stars for the other times I came here and was happy.
Today was a disaster, first of all, on a Friday (weekday) it was SO crowded, never seen that place like this, even tough I checked the occupancy on their website which seemed okay at the time of looking at it. My partner and I purchased the extra sauna entry (6chf) and it was so busy that we decided not to go, people everywhere, we tried two times but it was insane and no privacy at all, a pity. I think the number of entrances at the sauna should be controlled to a max number of people( 20 probably), it felt like the only one making profit of it is the business and not the client enjoying the experience.
Second thing I do not understand is how come children are accepted in this kind of places, there is the Lido next door with toboggans and an outdoor warm pool for both parents and children so why letting kids in the Salini? Even small ones were there, some playing, splashing and swimming underwater with goggles. At this point why can I not bring my camera or phone? What does it change? Really annoying and definitely not relaxing at all. The amount of people make the place so loud.
Third, the main pool is just warm. I had shivers staying outside and felt really uncomfortable as well as my partner. It used to be much warmer. Maybe they are saving on energy and money I don't know.
And last of our terrific day, the ice cream we had for lunch was expired since two months and ate it all before noticing it.
They offered the lunch thankfully and kindly told me to go to the hospital if we felt sick and have some tests done to make sure it is a food poisoning.
Well, I went many times to this place and this time I felt like I had to say something as it was a real disappointment.
If it was my first time I would have rate it 1 star.
Don't feel like coming back any time soon.

My wife and I both were pleasantly surprised: we booked the private spa experience for 2.5 hours and we loved it. I think it qualifies as an excellent treat for a special occasion.
Then we spent the rest of the day at the thermal baths which we also enjoyed very much. Sauna is great and so are the mud treatments.
Despite visiting right before Easter it wasn’t too crowded and overall people were respectful of the quietness - we also appreciated mobile phones are forbidden.
Compared to other thermal structures we visited, I think this is one of the best in terms of value for money!

Great experience, but really disappointed by the amenities. No shampoo, conditioner, or even body wash in the shower. No water or tea out. First experience at a spa without these basics. Otherwise, highly recommend.

Very nice to chill out, especially on a cold, rainy day.
Nice sauna and relaxation room, even outside.
The Aufguss is nice, but ones the hour too much. The window for the outside view is cool.
Could have more hot sauna, only one available, maybe an outside one?
