Imagine you have bought a luxury watch, Rolex Explorer II, it dropped from your hand due to a broken bracelet without notice and Rolex does not acknowledge this failure?

I lost the most robust watch Rolex has ever built after two years through a loose bracelet screw which was not applied with Loctite when purchased. Based on Rolex’s guideline, every dealer has to apply Loctite when seizing a bracelet. In AUG 2020, I bought at Poniros (Fira, Santorini) my Explorer II. During seizing my bracelet, Poniros did not apply Loctite. In 2021, I noticed a loose screw and went to Wempe (Dortmund). It got fixed without applying Loctite again.

I shared this case with Rolex who feels sorry but rejects to help even though their own guidelines tell differently.

Rolex advertises first class quality and superior customer service and charged me 9k EUR for my watch back than. Rolex’s attitude is embarrassing considering their brand values.

Every retail where I was, around the release date says: “ if you place a wish/order now then the first models of the releases 2023 are coming out in August / September and then you can buy it” but we are in May and they are available in the grey market for a disastrous price. how ? This is a pyramid game.

I mean I would give it 5 stars if they had tours. The buildings looks spectacular and it would be a dream of mine to get a tour. But alas no such thing is possible. Still worth going to check out.

I’m very disappointed with all Rolex stores I’ve visited.
Kooheji retailer in Saudi Arabia and in Bahrain as well.
I’m looking for a Rolex watch and I couldn’t able to get a one for more than 2 years.
The answer is THE WAITING LIST IS FULL. No hope to register my name at all.

Purchasing a timepiece shall be a pleasure and not a combat or a headache. Even more if you are a loyal costumer of the brand… Your time is more valuable than the “crown”. Go away and enjoy your life! Very disappointing brand selling to a cliché targeted audience you do not want to be associated with.
I’m happy to be a former costumer and to have moved on. The values represented by Rolex brand are so poor… goodbye Rolex, goodbye issues.

Corrupted non-profit (can you believe that?) watchmaker which sells watches through unofficial network of gray market dealers and keep its shops as a cover, as nobody can just walk in and buy a watch there, except maybe couple datejusts. People believe in your "waiting list" as much as they believe in a tooth fairy.

the brand intentionally keeps stock without releasing it to inflate demand and prices. these are further skewed by instagram algorythms where its all you see. these are the reasons for waitlists, frustrated and annoyed customers and so on
