It’s okay for an overnight stay, not for longer stay. Staff used extra key to open our door when we were inside the room (with no notice given beforehand), just to check our bathroom with their contractor. Then they got out locked us inside the room with their extra key, we couldnt get out! The door lock is not functioning since that. Requested to change the room but no response.

I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews but my stay was good and as expected for the price. Similar to a private room in a hostel.

This isn't luxury accomodation but the bed was comfortable, the room was spacious, the linens and room were clean although a bit worn.

The shared bathroom is compact and old but was clean whenever I used it.

There wasn't really a place to put my luggage other than on the floor, a luggage rack would have helped. And a couple plates, bowls, utensils would have been nice. And the sheets are probably about ready to be replaced.

Even so, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Great location, super staff, and fine facilities! The rooms got a little hot without any fan, but it was peak summer after all. Shared bathrooms we're fine and clean, and excellent value for what it was. Had some nice chats with the staff and thoroughly enjoy our stay here!

The hotel is quite simple but clean and tidy, and has everything a normal traveller needs. I like the place because it has personality, and the staff is friendly and charming. For Swiss standards (a ridiculously expensive country), the price of this hotel is quite fair. A major asset is the location: you walk less than 10 mins to the Beaulieu congress centre, and less than 5 mins to the m2 metro station. The famous cathedral is also close by. I would book again if I come back to Lausanne.

It's ok for a 1 night stay.
Breakfast was mediocre.

The bed had bedbugs. The toilet is too small. It's hard to use the token to open the door, and we only had one key for 4 people.

My husband and I stayed there last April. It is charming, convenient and a great experience. We knew it was older but that adds to its' character. It is right down the street from where my husband lived while going to medical school in the 50's. He is going again this April and, hopefully, he'll be able to stay there again with 2 of his daughters. Very European and lovely.

If you don't worry about sharing the bathroom, this is an amazing place to stay! I love the cozy space and the reception they gave me! Would literaly come back here!
