Great spot! Friendly owner with outstanding service. He gave us complementary drinks and yummy olives. I had the grilled calamari with chips very and my friend had the fish, tasty and fresh. Definitely check this spot out if you're in Lausanne.

The service here was great and the food tasted delicious and authentic. This is not cheapest place even by Swiss standards. Would return again.

I had a Sicilian special eggplant lasagne; Perfect! Good coffee.
Great service. Low key. Off the beaten track. Worth it!

Excellent and quiet Italian restaurant. The people here are welcoming and warm. The place, despite the age, is well kept and quiet, with a small number of tables. The menu gives an interesting choice, with excellent ingredients and cooking. Be it for seafood or steaks I was always delighted with the mix of flavours. Make sure to book in advance, especially on weekends and for larger groups. Enjoy!

Great service, great food, great experience! The owner greeted each of our party of 4 with a handshake as new friends. He didn't speak much English but between French, Italian and Google translate we all had excellent dishes and in large portions. We finished off the meal with very good limoncello. It was the most expensive meal we've had in Europe (Paris, Switzerland, and Germany) but it was the best meal we've had during our travels.

Delightful! We happened upon Le Tandem during a walk so went back for dinner. The owner is very personable and interacts with everyone. Food was delicious and plentiful. Wine by the glass very good quality and local from Villette. Owner is Italian and we enjoyed speaking in our mutual language. Highly recommend as this is not only dinner but an experience!

The best experience I've ever had in any restaurant in Lausanne! The owner is making an art out of the way he is welcoming and serving his clients. While it is true the location is not the best in the city, the quality of food and service is over compensating this small "inconvenient".
