Beautiful views filled with trees on a majestic background. I liked the different options to get up and down. Staff was kind and efficient. The whole set up was done very well. So that the transition were smooth with short queues.

Great place. When we went in April it was rainy and foggy. But it was still wonderful as you will see from the pictures and videos. Once we reached the top, we didn't see much due to the fog.

The walk from the bus stop is mostly uphill, so be mindful. The ride was free with the Swiss Travel Pass.

Download weather Apps and search on Google for weather reports when planning a trip up the mountain.
The day we planned on going, it was cloudy in the morning but a slight opening in the afternoon, the remaining 2 days were due to be low cloud and raining. So we decided to chance going in the afternoon.
Took the number 1 bus to the cable car station. When you get off the bus go up the steps to the church and out the back follow the path.
It was still cloudy when we got half way up, we couldn't see the top so we got out and had our packed lunch. We went on the Toboggan run, great fun! When we looked up again, we could see the top so we got the cable car up. We spent the most incredible few hours drinking in the views. We had hot Gluiwein from the cafe.
We fed the birds with some nuts we had, they eat from your hand.
The cog train wasn't working, it was just the cable car.
Incredible views when it's clear of cloud.

Make sure you get a clear cloud free day. Or you might not see anything at all. We were lucky there was a break in the clouds so seen a fair bit.

The gondola and cable car up to the top of Mt. Pilatus was spectacular! A must do when in the area. Plan to spend at least a half day enjoying all there is to do on the mountain

Price for ticket is not very good, but the views are stunning! I was wondering how great it must be in winter time when everything is white with lots of snow...

Beautiful. Amazing experience. It clearly explains why Switzerland is called paradise and mother nature at its best.

Very unique train. Totally different experience to a regular train. It’s really steep. You’ll feel it all the way.
