We stayed here for 3 nights on our honeymoon while traveling around Europe for a few weeks. This was by far our favorite hotel. The views, room, location, recommendations, breakfast, staff, and spa were exceptional!! If we could give everything 6 stars, we would! We can’t wait to come back and stay longer next time.

There was an extreme heat wave during our stay, but we were able to open the windows in the evening to cool the room down tremendously. Thank you Parkhotel team! ❤️

The location of this hotel is spectacular, the views are unbeatable. My wife and I felt welcomed the entire time and the staff was helpful for all of our needs. Our room did not have air conditioning but we managed with the windows open as it was mostly quiet and peaceful outside. The hotel is also across the street from the bus stop so it was quick and easy to travel to Thun and Interlaken without much trouble. Although we did not use the spa amenities everything looked high-end and well managed.

If you are looking to experience Swiss hostility towards Germans this is the place to be. Either the hotel owner is unaware of Mr. Vogler's hostility or sanctions his behavior. Neither is acceptable. For any other nationality this is a nice hotel.

Location is awesome with lake and mountain views.
Rooms are clean but the mattress was worn and sagged.
Staff were very helpful. We arrived late and they were happy to organize a sandwich and friut box in our room.
The breakfast is good.
We ate at the restaurant on the last night.
Very impressed with the food and Hamiz's service. Large portions too. ????
There is a great pizzeria one minute walk from the hotel. They are open late in case you need a hot meal if you arrive late.

The Park-Hotel Gunten is a 3 star hotel, with a 5 star feel. Not only are the rooms big and luxurious, but the view of the Lake Thunersee is a treat in itself. Also the hotel staff is very professional and sensitive to the guests visiting. The breakfast buffet had something for everyone.
The cherry on the cake for me was when the sweet girl at the reception gave us free water bottles, for our trip onwards, which showed that they genuinely care about their guests.

This hotel was a highlight of our trip. Our room had an amazing lake view that we cherished and enjoyed. Hotel staff were very helpful in giving us a bus pass, change to use restrooms in the city, and water bottles upon our departure. Gunten is so peaceful and much more quiet than Interlaken, but it was easy to get to Interlaken by bus from this hotel.

This is without a doubt, the most fairytale hotel by Lake Thunersee! The grandeur feel of the hotel, the superb garden with majestic trees and ofcourse the stunning view. It is a classy place to stay, but not too stiff or uptight.
Can absolutely be recommended!

The hotel staff were helpful but the restaurant staff was unprofessional. When we come to the restaurant there were no tables available by the window and later before any of food comes in there were two tables available by the window and we asked if we could change our table to the ones by the window they said no. Weird behavior
