Best shop I've found so far in Switzerland for japanese grocery products and kitchen accessories (compared to Basel, Bern and Zürich). They also offer freshly made sushi, bento boxes, karaage, yakitori and more for moderate prices. Highly recommended, if you're into japanese culture.

They charge CHF16 for rice, 4 pieces of side dish eg radish and half a salmon. Without miso soup...

Once upon a time the menu of the day was below CHF14 and fuller. And now after having visited Japan and experienced real bentos, I'm afraid I can no longer recommend this place for lunch.

Good variety of Ramen in the pack, great hot takeaway dishes and great sushi well priced, there is a great girl who works there too, European with long hair!

This only about the shop- I have not tried the restaurant. Small (but packed) shop with mostly Japanese goods. Prices are on the higher end. Mostly packaged goods, but some refrigerated. A selection of alcohol, also some home goods.

Review for restaurant. 18chf for a bento box special ok.... a blob of rice, miso soup, some old noodles and few pieces of tofu. Very strange ordering system. All meals served in plastic throw away containers this is reason enough to never come. Super expensive as the blob of rice and miso cost about 2.50chf including the wasteful packaging. When we asked for soya the first person said no it's not possible. The another person said you can pay for it? So yes we paid extra to add 1ml throw away bottle of soy sauce at a Japanese sit down restaurant. I shouldn't be shocked anymore in Genève but I am.... any sushi in Genève is better than this. So sad because we thought as a grocery they must know what they're doing but nope.

This is the best Japanese shop I’ve ever visited in Europe
It has a large selection of Japanese items including that I couldn’t have seen before

Japanese restaurant and shop. They have take away sushi that you can eat at the restaurant and a menu if you want to order something that is not already prepared. The place is very popular and the food is tasty and fresh. A good place for a quick lunch.

BUT too much plastic! Even when eating at the restaurant, every single item is given in a different plastic container. Even the soy sauce comes in a plastic container.

The store has everything Japanese. Including some nice sweets ????
