Centrally located near shopping area and the city.. the place is old but very clean and big rooms. Service is top notch ???? and spacious for a big family of four. Thank you will be back again.

Initially booked for 10 days but ended up staying one month since I did not find an apartment. Although, we find its a little bit pricy compared to the service and facilities, however, overall, we liked it and recommend to other as well. The receptionists were super helpful, rooms were net and tidy and breakfast was good.

The Hotel Sagitta is located near the city center and there is a private parking, so you will not get mad in searching for one. The building is OK, a bit old but clean and pleasant. The room at first looked old, but we discover that the beds were very good, the room clean and well isolated from the outside noise of the cars. The furniture were a bit old fashion but still functional and clean. The breakfast was OK. Simple but with some good choice of food and drink. I would advice the Hotel’s staff to try improving the offer of food and drink to make it more pleasant for the customer. The staff was super kind and always available to help and support. At the end our two nights have been pleasant and relaxing. I would advice it for family with children, but also for the lonely traveler.

We were at the hotel for a short stay in the middle of June.
Despite the unusually hot weather for Geneva (32 degrees Celsius) the air-conditioning cooled very well and wasn't noisy.
The room was spotlessly clean as well as the bathroom which was newly refurbished .
There is a large multi-purpose table that can be folded back to the wall when not needed so one can have more space.
A fully stocked kitchenette with
Pots pans dishes salad bowls cutlery(flatware) cups cutting knives and a board and tray
2 electric burners and a bar fridge and sink as well as an electric kettle.
The furniture is the older retro style that they seem to like in Switzerland but there were plenty of shelves and drawers of all sizes to amply store items as well as hanging space.
The beds were new modern and super comfortable.
The staff at the reception desk were very courteous helpful and polite.
We had a misunderstanding in the type of room we ordered via our travel agent and it was fixed up in no time.
It is a two minute walk to the light rail as well as a pharmacy and 2 well stocked supermarkets that also have clothing and stationary products .
Yes the windows are a bit old and they should really change the carpets in some of the rooms but they gave us excellent service.
For a simple clean pleasant no frills place to stay I highly recommend this hotel

Positive: The room was spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. Location was very close to downtown. Breakfast was very good. Negative: The only thing I didnÂ¿t like was parking. Although it wasnÂ¿t onsite, it wasntvety far eitherÂ¿just a few minutes walk away.

Overall: this hotel is below average and outdated.

When we arrived they didn’t have the room with 2 beds we reserved. The receptionist was very friendly. After about 30minutes of trying, she finally gave us a room with the right amount of beds. The first room we got was very dusty and dirty. The new room was cleaner but still very outdated. You can feel each individual spring in the bed. The shower was bad and didn’t drain well at all. The all in one hand wash, body wash, shampoo was exactly what you expect of it. My room had an espresso maker in it but the other room we reserved did not.

My biggest issue was that someone went into my room and took a large sum of money out of my money clip. It was on my bed and maybe someone thought it was a tip; however, I spoke with the staff and the staff didn’t do anything about it besides a generic email to me saying they trust their staff. I hope after reading this review they will actually conduct the internal review and return my money to me. At which point I’ll adjust this review.

The breakfast was very average. Only hot thing was the coffee and a hard boiled egg. That’s pretty standard in Switzerland but we did stay at a few places that had a large buffet and would make you omelette too that were a similar price. The staff working the breakfast did work very hard and did their best to accommodate you.

Overall, it’s a roof over your head and is 10 minutes walk to the actual city. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you are in a pinch. I’ve stayed in better hostels than this hotel. Of the 6 Swiss hotels we stayed in this was the 2nd worst.

Pros: cheap, somewhat convenient, friendly reception. Quiet street

Cons: lack of room security, breakfast, shower, beds, lack of cleanliness. No AC but that’s common in Switzerland.

Very kind staff always ready to help and comfortable large apartment-like rooms. Furniture looks dated but otherwise nothing to complain about

Great value for money. Rated 3 star but also boasts a clean and safe certification which it truly is. Not shabby in any way and super clean. Breakfast is included and is very nice: breads, pastries, boiled eggs, cheeses and dried meats, juices, fresh fruit and yogurt. In a great area of Eaux Vives and park by the same name and not far from the waterfront and the jet d'eau
