Local restaurant of Carouge, not even accepting credit cards. Great fondue and entrecôte.

The best fondue I've ever had! The half & half cheese is spectacular. I'll have to go back to try the tomato cheese. The pear liqueur is also good.

The best fondue in Geneva! Came here with a friend for fondue and wine and loved every bit. Cheese was delicious and white wine paired was perfect. Service was attentive and they gave us more bread too. After our fondue they served us cooked/brown cheese which is supposed to be the finale. You cannot leave before trying their lemon tart. Best ever. I had a great time here and highly recommend it. Make reservations as this place gets busy.

It's a local restaurant for local people! Fabulous fondue but don't expect to waltz in as a tourist. Nearby residents will have priority, quite rightly so. The amount of times someone will enter and be greeted by their old friends and neighbours is revealing.

My experience was wonderful but I was the guest of a family that live in the neighbourhood. Free wine that was paid for by the the bloke that vacated our table, and the restaurant itself when we required less than a full bottle added to our visit.

Great Fondue, I tried the Fondue Marseillaise for the first time and it was delicious! Fast service, we had a slightly forgetful waitress but she was very busy serving the very full restaurant on a Tuesday night. I recommend

This little local place in Carouge does Fondue ... Perfectly! And when it comes to potatoes and fondue, I was reliably informed by the Chef who came out of his kitchen to educate me that the fondue is poured over the chopped up pieces - you don't dip them in like bread! ???????????? PS - They then take the "empty" pan back in the kitchen to scrape the "well done stuff" stuck to the pan and the return it to you to finish off!!! ????

Just only one little problem. You need to pay in cash. It is not a problem just a warning for foreigners!

Perfect fondues in a nice atmosphere.

Wine suggestions also perfect

I came here almost four years ago with my now husband when we first started dating. It was our first trip together- now, of many. We didn’t realize how late people ate and made no reservations. We walked in and basically told they well full. Bummed, we left and started walking to find another place to eat. All of a sudden this older later, speaking French, told us we could have a table as long as we left by a certain time. The owners and ambiance were warm and welcoming. Jokingly, we call it “grandma’s place”. It is a memory that we both fondly look back on. We look forward to coming back to Geneva and visiting this spot- with reservations this time of course.
