Booked for 4 nights, with a coworker. The bed is quite comfortable, and the bathrooms seem to have been remodelled. There is a slight lack of amenities, but nothing that can't be brought along with you on a trip. The morning breakfast is simple but excellent, and is a must-have when looking to travel in Basel without emptying your wallet.

Room was freezing cold even though the radiator was on. Could not get any warm water and the bathroom sink had a funky smell. Could hear loud noise from the street outside, also during late hours. Construction work started early in the morning. I recommend earplugs and a warm blanket if staying at this hotel. Breakfast was somewhat ok and location close to everything you might want to visit in Basel.

The room was small but nevertheless it was very clean and well maintained. The service was good and fast. The wifi was not working properly

Stayed for a couple of nights in this hotel. The room was just right for our needs, enough space and the little bathroom had everything we needed. The coffee machine made a lovely drink in the morning too. The rooms were clean. It was a good central place to travel around with tram connections outside the hotel. As a visitor you are given a pass to travel free on the trams which is a nice extra, we also had a 50% off card for many of the local attractions such as museums and the zoo. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Not a good experience. I booked for 3 nights, checked out as soon as I could after the first. Didnt even sleep!! This hotel is in serious need of a deep clean and an upgrade! Dust, dirt, cobwebs, spiders, mould etc. I couldn't even think about showering.

For a two-star hotel they did a wonderful job. Also, comes with Basel-card! More importantly, location is very close to everything. If far? Who cares? You have a basel card so the free public transport is there for you!

The room was clean and freshly renovated however it was very hot inside and I could not open the window due to the noise from the bars around and tram. Even with the closed window it was too loud to get descent sleep. Price is too high for poor quality.
