We recently stayed at the Hotel du Commerce apartments in March 2023. The apartments were very nice and had a washer/dryer and kitchen. They were perfect for our stay in Basel and the attendants at the reception desk were always very helpful. I highly recommend a stay at Hotel du Commerce if you are in Basel.

Well situated not too far for Messe Basel. Nice restaurants at walking distance and not far away from bridge and river.
Close to the tram station as well

The room was very clean and the staff super friendly. But if you're a light sleeper like me I wouldn't recommend; you could easily hear the noise of the street and the rooms next to you. Also I found it quite irritating that the room wasn't darkened.
Great breakfast choices also for vegans, loved the huge muesli bar ????????

Nice location, very close to the conference center. However the window is not soundproofing enough and it is still VERY noisy when the tram passes by. I woke up by the noise every morning during my stay there when the tram starts running in the morning, which is around 5am so definitely not a very nice experience.

Very nice staff. Clean and near room in the lift. 2mins walk to the tram, 5mins walkable to the cafes, shops. 10mins to the mall and river. 10mins from train station by car. Very accessible to everything you need.

5 minutes walk to Messe Basel and Basel congress center. Stayed for 1 week for business. 3 minutes to tram station. The service was great and friendly.

We didn't stay long but it was a nice hotel (we stayed in an apartment) and got such lovely service when we arrived. Good wifi. Expensive parking and they add city tax when you leave so be prepared for that. We loved that there was a washer in the apartment!
