Probably the worst hotel I have been in years, the bed is awful: me and my colleague in another room had three horrible sleep nights. The walls are so thin you can here the next room moving in their beds. The toilets are a disaster, everything gets soaked when you shower and the air vacuum keeps on for half an hour after you turn on the lights, so you keep hearing all the toilets from all the rooms all night long.
My room door did not close properly and had to strongly press or pull to close it.

As there is no reception you have to walk down the street to another hotel (under construction) to get the room card and check in.
Hotel entrance door is always open so you find non guest roaming around.

I have it one star cause there is no "0 star" valuation.

Received two singles beds put together even though we booked a 'double room'. There is no self check in (even though it is advertised as so), you have to walk to a hotel 2 minutes away to do this. When you get there, there is a charge of 10% tax when you check in. None of this was made obvious when booking! The room was also not cleaned our whole stay, is this the Easyhotel experience? Maybe. We had water pipers running through our room so whenever another guest used water you could hear it trickling through our room, quiet annoying. Having said that the location is good, right next to all tram/bus stops and the room is slighlty bigger than you'd expect. If I was in Basel again i'd stay here. But please fix the above issues!

I recently stayed at the Easyhotel and I have to say I was very disappointed. The room was not clean and the bed was uncomfortable. I had trouble sleeping well at night as the bed was very hard and uncomfortable.

I was very disappointed in my stay as I expected the hotel to be clean and comfortable. Unfortunately that was not the case. I hope that the hotel management will take care of these issues to ensure future guests have a pleasant stay.

Overall I would not recommend the Easyhotel as it was not clean and not comfortable. There are better hotels to choose from that better suit guests' needs.

For.messe visit this is a perfect hotel to be. For Indians, local indian Restrauants are just near by. Nice and clean room but do not expect any reception or room service as already mentioned contactless service.

Very basic rooms even considering the price/category. Have stayed very often in similar properties which were much better. Beds very small, room light not sufficient, no bed light, no chair. Cleanliness was ok

The hotel that ruined our holidays. After having paid a big chunk of money for so called "tourism tax", you will enter a room with no wifi, just beds, bathroom, shower, tv and an old airco. It doesn't matter on what side of the building you'll be. There's noise at night either from traffic or a party. A group on our neighbours' room went outside to tell the complaint. There's just no positive thing about this place. That's why it's so "easy" to write this review. A 12 year-old could arrange a better room than this.

For $100 a night it beats any American hotel for the same price. We had a doublebed room which ended up having a little balcony which was nice. The bed isn’t amazing nor are the pillows but who cares, I slept fine. The bathroom was small but nice and it’s Europe so if you wanted lavish go somewhere else. If you are looking for a hotel for $100 a night or less you should stay, it’s good! 5 stars for the price and exceeding expectations for the price. Plus the gentleman at the front desk was very nice!

So thankful we found easyHotel Basel! Every other place in Basel was very expensive, but this was adorable and clean. The rooms are small, but they are true to advertised size and they make good use of the space. Allowed us to store our bags all day after checkout until our train out of the city. Thank you for a great stay!
