Average food only unfortunately, even if the menu looks good, nice options, above avergae price, the quality of the dish is not there.
The location is great in a historic building.
Unfortunately, the food does not rise to the value of the location.

Excellent location to eat in the summer. The place is filled by boat cruise guests. So food can trend to appeasing them.

Fast and friendly service - can be slow or fast as you need, lovely atmosphere sitting outside for lunch, the Caesar salad and Osso Busco were perfect.

Nice atmosphere on the heart of Basel. good selection and tasty dishes. We went with fish and meat. all served with good French wine .

Lovely French cafe style place, hidden away in Basel center. Read about them on Michelin guide, and the food, service and ambience lived up to it. The weekday lunch menu is a great deal as well.
