Barry is extremely talented and I can say I had the best haircut of my life (and I’m not young)! My hair is now easy to style, the exact length I like and full of body. Simply excellent experience and result!

It’s always a great experience to have a haircut from Barry! He is an expert of hair, likes to try new hairstyles but doesn’t push for his ideas, always respects my wishes and ideas :)
I can just recommend him ;)

I found Barry by searching for good reviews in Basel. I called him in desperation after receiving terrible service. I had seen another hairstylist asking for some subtle highlights to rid of the winter dull and instead received patchy orange blonde zebra highlights. My hair is naturally brown. My desperation was both because I was horrified to be seen in public and having an overseas trip in 3 days (now 2 days). He met with me immediately to better understand the problem then found time outside of normal work hours to fix. I’m absolutely amazed with his work. Not only did he reverse the damage, he gave me exactly what I was initially looking for. I am forever grateful and highly recommend his service and professionalism.

Barry is a great person and excellent hairdresser. I prefer natural look and easy maintenance but whatever is your wish he will listen and provide exactly what you agree on with him. I encourage you to take the free consultation opportunity if you are looking for a new hairdresser. I enjoyed the consultation and my appointment, we had a great talk as well! I'm 100% happy with my new haircut. I'll be back for sure!

Barry is the only salon in Basel you should get your hair done at ! I have never trusted my hair with anyone else and he does exceptional job ! He is very professional, fast and he listens what you exactly want and gets your highlights and cut as you like them . He is the number one in the city .

Barry is a very talented hairdresser and one of the best in Basel! After moving here, it took me a long time to find someone that I could trust with highlights/color/cut. I had a number of disappointments before finding Barry. He easily understood what I was looking for and always delivers. I have never been happier with my hair and despite highlighting for years, he actually found a way to improve the overall health of my hair. Also, Barry is just a really lovely person. I would highly recommend!

I had my haircut done by Katie recently and I can't say anything but how nice it was! She payed a lot of attention to the process and has a great energy. I left feeling just great! After 2 years of unsuccessful haircuts I feel relieved to find a place like Hair Design by Barry. Thanks a lot!
