Excellent apart-hotel, this is not the first time I stay in this network, and every time I feel at home. Large clean, well-maintained and quiet rooms, a transformer bed that turns into a sofa. Full kitchen with everything you need. Great breakfast and super price. Public transport stops nearby, 10 minutes walk to the town hall, next to the expo center, there are a lot of different shops in the area. There is also parking and a fitness room. Very friendly and responsive staff.

Really convenient location to the tram lines, friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean, tidy, great facilities in the apartment my friends and I stayed in. Although the apartment could fit 4 people, it would be a tight squeeze, the kitchen area in particular was tiny. The bathroom however was a great size.

The breakfasts were great too, plenty of choices available and the lady managing the area was very friendly and helpful!

Great choice for Basel. The room was comfortable, bright, quiet, with a kitchen that was basic but functional. The people working the front desk were friendly and helpful.

Room was nice, mattress was lumpy. Breakfast was terrible. Food ran out, bacon was burnt to a crisp.

The worst experience of my travel in Basel. I was charged for CHF21 for using the sparkling water when I check out at 7:00am on 25/1/2023. This is FREE service from other adagio apartment hotel. I stay couple nights with adagio hotels in other cities from this trip in ????????. There is no sign or price for the sparkling water. I attached the price list which is beside the sparkling water machine and coffee machine. The employees charge us for no reason?? The bill listed “soft drink and snacks ”. For the record, I attached the receipt. To be clear, It is not the city tax.

Helpful staff
Great location close to the center with free public transport (trams and busses)

Quite room but AC controls massively over complicated
All you want is on-off, fan speed and temperature control, you need a degree in M&E controls to work this system

The stay was ok except for that fact that we left our charger for the toothbrush there and it was never returned. We reported it the same day as we had already left Basel when we noticed.

We called 10 times in total only to be told a different story everytime. They confirmed us they had found the charger and would return it through Swiss Post to where we live.

Its been over 2 months now, just to be told that its been sent 2 weeks ago and this is now a problem of either the Swiss Post (ridicolous!) or that I had given them the wrong address. Fine we called several times to confirm the address.

Thats one of the most basic things in Hotellerie, sorry but you need to get that right. If people dont feel at home or safe, then its not a good hote. 1 star for that - and the price goes to the manager who took care of our problem. We wont be coming back.

Payed for 3 beds (including 1 couch) and received 2 beds (1 bed and 1 couch). They did not offer a refund, despite only receiving 2/3rds of the accommodation payed for.
