I noticed only half of the lights are ever working leaving me to workout in a poorly lit gym.
For over a month in the men’s locker room there were no hair dryers leaving me with the decision not to shower or go to work with wet hair.
In the men’s bathroom the urinal broke. It was taped off for some time saying “nicht benutzen”. It was then taken off the wall without replacing it or fixing the wall. The owner came up to me (buff guy with the nice beard) complaining another customer asked when it would be fixed. He more or less told me this is a cheap gym and he should join a more expensive gym if he doesn’t like it. I was shocked the owner would say something like that, but I just said yes to agree with him so I could continue my training.
In the functional fitness room a few resistance bands broke that I enjoyed for my warm up. I’ve never seen them replaced leaving me with a selection that is either too light or heavy.
Now to the reason I’m taking the time to write this review. A month or so before my subscription would renew the owner asked me if I have time to look at my subscription. Of course. He said he could give me a great deal if I signed up for another year, giving me a extra 3 months for the lockdown and also at a slightly reduced price. I told him I would have to wait and see because I am moving to SG. He said we could look at it again later. Once I moved I got an email from simplyfit saying I need to pay for the next year. They didn’t even take the time to fill in my name. See attached photo. I would have appreciated when the owner talk to me to inform me that I would have to cancel my subscription. It's apparently more expensive if you let it automatically renew by about 100.- Also any emails I have sent to them only got a short and disrespectful reply. I said that to the lady at the front reception and she said it’s from the Büro... I hope future customers read this so they know what they are signing up for.

Im Studio angekommen, überrascht mich der Geschäftsführer mit der Nachricht, dass es das von mir gebuchte Einsteigerangebot ("Sieben Tage kostenlos trainieren") nicht mehr gibt. Offenbar hatte man auf der Unternehmenswebsite an verschiedenen Stellen unterschiedliche Fristen angegeben. Man habe zwar versucht, mich telefonisch zu informieren, mich jedoch leider nicht erreicht. Seltsam... einen Kontaktversuch kann ich im Anrufspeicher meines Handys (alle Kontaktdaten wurden bei der Buchung abgefragt) nicht finden. Aber jetzt bin ich schon mal hier, dann kann ich auch trainieren.
In den Umkleideräumen ist viel Platz, ein Schloss für den Spind muss man selbst mitbringen. In der Dusche gibt es keinerlei Abstandsmaßnahmen, alle Plätze sind benutzbar. Das Studio selbst ist geräumig, auf zwei Ebenen gibt es trotz der coronabedingten Sperrungen genügend gepflegte Geräte, meist Gym80. Hier kann man gut trainieren, und da ich mit einer Trainingsapp arbeite, benötige ich auch keine der (offenbar kostenpflichtigen) Trainingsberatungen.
Überhaupt scheint hier alles außer der Gerätenutzung ein kostenpflichtiges Zusatzmodul zu sein. Darüber hinaus zaubert der Studio-Mitarbeiter nach dem Training noch eine Art Grundgebühr aus dem Hut. Diese kommt zwar im Preismodell auf der Website nicht vor - aber er will sie mir erlassen, wenn ich sofort unterschreibe. Offenbar sind die Verkaufstechniken bei SIMPLYFIT noch nicht auf dem gleichen Stand wie die Studioausstattung. Zusammen mit der intransparenten Kommunikation um das Einsteigerangebot auf der Website macht das Ganze in meinen Augen einen wenig vertrauenerweckenden Eindruck. Deshalb bleibt es bei dem Probetraining.
Fazit: Geräumiges Studio mit ausbaufähiger Geschäftskommunikation.

Nachdem 2 Probetraining kam der Chef und sagte du musst ein Vertrag bei uns abschliessen da du beim 2 mal ohne Erlaubnis ins Fitness gegangen bist unsere Kamera hat dich aufgenommen
Und fing an mein Sohn zu erzählen ja falls du dich nicht anmeldest wird die Polizei alarmiert da du kein Teilnehmer bist und es daher zu einer Hausfriedensbruch gilt .
Dann musste ich noch einen Vertrag abschliessen also bitte wirklich????????
