I had an exceptional experience at Uniklinik Balgrist. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff. Throughout my entire visit, the entire team demonstrated a high level of professionalism and genuine care. The doctors were knowledgeable, attentive, and took the time to explain everything in detail, ensuring I felt comfortable and well-informed. The nurses and support staff were equally kind and helpful, going above and beyond to provide exceptional care. I can honestly say that I’ve never had a better experience at a hospital. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of top-notch medical care. They truly set the bar for excellence in healthcare.

Open daily 7-21 (visitors), parking and tram stop in front of the door. A university clinic specializing in damage to the musculoskeletal system with a research center to improve health care.

Consultation for ankle injuries. Reception, X-ray and mri and cast employees were very friendly and helpful. However appt with dr was quick and didn’t feel all my concerns were taken into consideration, maybe i should have spoken up. Prescription was written without details of how much I was to receive by Apotheke, how long I should take it. Pharmacist was also concerned and confused about the script. I had to email the next day to get clarification. Received a letter for physical therapy without institutions as to where I should go, if I can go any where, when I should start physio therapy and said twice a day treatments which I assume is a mistake. Twice a day 9 times seems a bit too much. I have emailed for clarification and I’m waiting for a response still. Nothing was clear and appointment was too fast as I felt rushed.

Follow up 31.8.22 - received call from dr who clarified all my questions and apologized for confusion with all of the letters, prescriptions, Zeugnis. All was clarified and I am happy with the outcome of final services provided and scheduling of follow up appt for tomorrow.

Maybe this clinic has a good reputation for surgeries but as far as Spine Consultation goes,it really dissapointed me.

The doctors at Balgrist repeated one part (not even full) of a diagnosis that i had by a previous Orthoped from another Clinic.(arthritis in the spine)
They just suggested me physiotherapy (which i was already doing) and visiting a Chiropractor.
The Doctor dis not even check where my pain were.
It felt like they didn‘t take me seriously because of my age.

I have received multiple procedures, treatments and surgeries at Balgrist Universitätsklinik. Every experience has been positive and the outcomes of my surgeries have been completely successful.
In addition to the outstanding medical team, I would like to compliment all the support staff - especially those in the International Office. My limited German was never a problem as they communicated with me in English and expertly guided me through every procedure.
I am incredibly grateful for the excellent care I’ve received at Balgrist and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hospital to any one.

So happy! Was recently looked after by the nursing team at Balgrist (OKG) and the experience was an extremely reassuring one. The staff were so professional and the care I received was personal and tended to my precise needs during recovery. I had so much trust in the nursing team, I marvel at how they manage this day in and day out during covid. Many thanks to those that looked after me!

If I could , I'd rate it 20 star.
I came in from abroad for spine surgery with Prof. Farshid.
After 5 days I walk out straight and pain free.
Everything medical , care, administration and room and food were top notch. A fabulous team, a great place to get well again.
I bless them.

Excellent hospital!
I had knee surgery in the Uniklinik Balgrist and since the moment of the first visit to the recovery process everything went very smooth and was very professional. I felt I was very carefully diagnosed and I was answered all questions regarding surgery very patiently. I was given very clear explanations by the whole team, from the volunteers at the door to the nurses, secretary, doctors, anesthesists and technical orthopedics team. My hospitalization time was also very nice, I was very well taken care of by the nurses and the hostelry teams, and had physiotherapy and technical orthopedists instructions from the first moment - showing me how to work with the crutches, helping me etc.
I am doing all the physiotherapy in Balgrist and I'm extremely satisfied with the process so far.
Overall I can say I had an excellent experience and would repeat with no doubts. Thank you!
