I have telmed with swica. I was waiting for 50 minutes to someone answer my call. After I told my problem the lady who was not a doctor told me she cannot give me any certificate to my work, I need to find doctor for myself book an appointment and go there for a certificate. It is ridiculous that’s why I have telmed not to do this. And then she said she’s gonna send me a list where can I go but she NEVER sent the list. Also I am asked I wanna speak with a doctor. A doctor called me back she asked about my problem again and she said she cannot give any certificate by the law wich is obviously not true because i had telmed for years with an other company and they always gave for tWO days, always. A doctor didn't give me advice how to treat myself just she was looking a randon clinic what she found online wich has no connection with swica I called and them and they said there is no place. So I am here with my illness no advice no doctor no certificate no medicine, and I need to find a random doctor for myself to get a certificat for my work and get any medicine or traetment advice. so I actually don’t understand what am I paying for. I am trying to be not sick from this day until a rest of the year and then I have to go back to the previous healthinsurer. NEVER CHOOSE SWICA TELMED NO SERVICE AT ALL FOR YOUR MONEY!

Worst experience ever. They are forcing me to pay a year's extra cover as I became a customer on 17 January 2022. Their logic was: you have to keep the extra covers for one year (so until 17 January 2023) and then you cannot change them until 31 December, so they have to last until 31 December 2023! I am fine with this rule, if at least it was communicated clearly! Too bad it is not written in the contract I signed and that when they made me the offer they explicitly told me that I could remove the extra covers for 2023 (opposite of what the truth is).
Total lack of transparency in communication.

the worst customer experience ever. i have had a big change in circumstance and they are forcing me to pay a full extra year of supplementary health insurance even though i am changing employer and therefore joining a collective policy. their 'benefits' are all a marketing scam when you read the T&Cs, the coverage is nothing like what you expect. I am shocked at how AWFUL they are. NEVER EVER AGAIN. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, they are thieves

Very bad service. It is already two months that I have been waiting for my health insurance card. I have signed the policy on 31 March, and today is 24th May, I have called already 4 times and each time they say the health insurance card is coming in few days. This is really not acceptable. They send me the invoices to pay for monthly payments, but they do not provide what they promisse for these payments-the healthcard. This is dissservice, and careless approach towards customer. If I have a right to receive the card as a client, why do you treat me like this careless and do not send me the card. Do the clients have to call you everyday to get what they pay for? Or Swica intentionally does not want to send the card, and later maybe send a separate invoice for the card issue? Think twice before choosing them.

Worst service ever! Unprofessional and lazy. They never answer any emails (I tried to get an answer for two months, sending several emails). They've told me over the phone they would reimburse a bill and then one month later (after I called again because they did not pay or answer my emails) they suddenly denied any reimbursement. Real bad service and the worst employees working there. I changed insurance after this. Never again Swica!

I've signed in January for the insurance.
After asking multiple times for it, I never received my insurance policy. Can't even resign without one? But still billed monthly...
This is unacceptable

EDIT (+1 star): after a last call I got my policy per mail, was called following this review to ensure I received everything --u003e I should get my insurance card 3 weeks later.

EDIT (+1 star): I received my insurance card in time, and afterwards had zero issues with them. Reactive, polite, and arranging on my other matters. Even though i had an issue, I would still recommend this company

It’s the worst experience I have ever had in Switzerland. The „Beraterin“ have mad several mistake. As a result I am expected to pay SWICA couple of tousand CHF. When I was trying to explain the situation on the phone, the manager, Sabine Koch, was at the beginning professional and then all of the sudden turned to be so unprofessional and disrespectable. She said something like that is what we have and if you do not like, then I am free to find another insurance company. She said that and she know that my wife is pregnant. Very sad! I would NOT advise anyone to change to SWICA.

Tried desperately to get an answer from them regards travel insurance and corona coverage.
I got transferred at least six times what I can live with.
A lady was supposed to call me back but didn’t. So I tried to call her. Either her phone was busy or she did not pick up. Very disappointed cause Swisca is my actual health Insurance.
