As long as you are prepared for a self check-in/customer service free hotel, I would recommend this place. The room was beautiful, the location can't be beat, and the view was fantastic. We were a little thrown off by the fact that there was no one there to check us in and that wasn't made clear when we booked it. Also, all of the signage, from the buttons on the phone to the info sheet in the hotel room was exclusively in German. That may have changed by now, however, because I called the hotel and suggested that they should put them in English and/or French since Switzerland is a multilingual country and Zurich is an international city.
The customer service folks I did speak to were top-notch, responsive, and dealt with my concerns immediately.

Best room I've ever had in a hotel. Spa suites have whirlpool and sauna in the room, more than enough space to stay there the whole day and night, but doing that would be a pitty because everything around the place is lovely. I recommend a walk up the hill to have the best view on Zurichlake!
Unfortunately I couldn't try the restaurant, because it is closed Monday/Tuesday.

Very cool hotel over looking Zürich City and only about 100 meters from the funicular, Dog friendly. Only 2 things, there is not an actual reception. We are tried to pay for the parking as we left and what the app doesn't say is you pay and then wait for an email with a code. So pay for parking early, we were in the car about to leave and had to wait. 2nd thing is there is no room key you have to use the app. Our had problems because the phone didn't hook right up to the wifi when we got to the hotel after going out. Once we knew to check it the phone wifi, there was no problem. But the one time there was a problem is when our dog was going crazy in the room because of a concert outside. Sorry if our neighbors are reading this ????.

A wonderful hotel in a very beautiful neighbourhood. The views of the city are spectacular, the rooms are very nice and the breakfast is amazing.
Wifi in my room was not working, but to be honest: I did not need it. Taking a long walk through the snow forest behind the hotel made up for it.

I like this place and would stay again, but I can report that the bed in the Eiger room is pretty hard, and I had to sleep on top of one of the duvets to keep from waking up all through the night (but I'm about 100 kilos so it may be different for you). The real nuisance for me was that the WiFi was shockingly bad, and since this was a business trip during which I worked out my room occasionally, it was a problem. On the other hand, the staff are terrific, the food yummy, the rooms cavernous, and the view spectacular. Given these comforts and the relative ease of access to my client from this location, I'd be happy work through these issues and stay again. But because of these problems I can only give 3 stars.

My wife and I ate in Restaurant Spice. We started with a champagne apero on the terrace with great views towards the Uetliberg. Then we were shown to our table inside - the experience felt very personal as the tables are well separated and so you can easily hold a private conversation with your loved one. The food is contemporary and consists of exotic fusions of vegetables, herbs and spices (meat is available too for the meat lovers). Great for romantic dates.

Amazing hotel located in the heart of downtown Zurich. Great location. Staff was nice and helpfull.
Will stay there again when next time in town.

Very nice rooms, spacious and an affordable price. The location is very quiet but the in-house restaurant not always. Sometimes it takess up to 1 o'clock until you can get some sleep.
