Breakfast was good, room wasn't that big but it was a good size, it had a fan that helped with the heat at night. . It was quite at night but you could hear some bells from the church and the tram, specially if you left the window opened. I didn't like that reception was until 5pm and the keys were electronic, I was anxious to think what to do if something would happened to my key at night and I couldn't get into the room because there was no one to help.

We spent 5 nights and we very pleased with the location. Laura Guerrero was so helpful and efficient in all of the many roles she took on. Our rooms were cleaned so nicely by Lourdes. We took many walks and felt very safe. Nice market just steps away along with the trams.

1. Awesome location, 10 minutes on foot to the center of Zurich and 4 minutes by tram
2. Great service and breakfast
3. Really clean place
4. Unfortunately the duplex room was a bit small for a duplex one, hence the 4 stars.

Location not far from Bahnhoff, it just takes 3-4 tram station. Room was super clean, surprisingly spacious, breakfast was very good with a lot of fresh food. They provide almost everything we need, including umbrella, slippers, hand sanitizer, even paper bag ???? i hope will come back soon to Switzerland, surely will choose Sorell again !

Location ok, very little parking but right next to the tram into town
Electronic check in after 5pm, fairly legible
Room very nice with amenities I had never seen before: umbrella, paper shopping bag and yoga mat
The bathroom is clean (shower needs some TLC)
The tram does run right by, until late, and rooms are not soundproof. Bring your earplugs (the hotel could provide them)
The breakfast buffet is ok but! It does not have meats on display for environmental reasons and oat milk is on display. Big thumbs up
The little staff I saw (breakfast) seemed either bored or upset (not friendly at all)

Very upsetting check in experience. No staff was at the counter. We had to do self check in via a computer that keeps hanging. The reference number given didn’t work and ended up having to call the helpline. Waited for u003e 30 min before the call went through. Staff was not friendly. Best to improve the self check in process before leaving zero staff at the hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for a few days, some 4-5 years ago. I wrote a review but I guess it got deleted :(. I came back to write a new review because this was such a lovely place to stay at for our vacation years back! the staff were super nice and friendly to us, fresh and really delicious breakfast, cozy and warm environment, the overall stay was comfortable, it is affordable and very nice. it also has a great view! It's near the center of Zürich. it's close to many tourist attractions and restaurants and grocery stores. it's a good walking distance to go anywhere, you don't even have to take a train or a car, it's about 30 minutes of walking to get to the lake Zürich :] overall 5/5, everything was really great! thanks for the memories!

We've been travelling 2 weeks. Different hotels every night. This is my least favourite so far. No soap to wash your hands in the bathroom. Shower that doesn't drain. Breakfast was good though. Ok for one night but I wouldn't go again.
