Good food for sure in beautiful environment. We were ignored for a while but that was an oversight by the wait staff. I enjoyed the house specialty but would not rave about it. The staff were friendly and the view is worth it all!

It is a pity for such a nice setting and tasty and well presented food to be accompanied with such a waiter. I don’t know why the guy was in a bad mood this day but that’s definitely not a way to treat and serve your clients. Very arrogant and aggressive person. Although the welcoming lady was very nice and friendly but this guy has ruined our lunch. A 5 stars on everything except service and experience which barely gets a star. I hope that this post will lead to action and that they speak to the guy in order for him to get his attitude straight.

Despite the beautiful house, view and delicious food, the poor service and attitude of the staff made it nearly impossible to enjoy our time there. It's a shame that such a lovely restaurant could be so tainted by such an unfriendly and unprofessional staff. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a pleasant dining.

Decent entrecote with Cafe de Paris but compared to some of the competition in town it doesn't quite reach the same level, be it in the quality of the meat or the taste of the sauce. The fries were unfortunately tasting like something out of a frozen packet and I can't say I enjoyed them. The setting is quite nice otherwise, in particular the outdoor garden area which is perfect for summer evenings.

Had a wonderful dinner with the family at Bürgli 2 days ago. Great food with excellent service ????????

The menu is seasonal - we decided to skip starter & go straight for the mains. We tried all the 4 mains on menu … they are all yummy delicious ????
The Entrecôte is the highlight - looks nothing out of the ordinary but the sauce is amazing. It is without a doubt the house speciality as pretty much every table has at least one serving of it.

The place is located on a slope overlooking Lake Zurich - unfortunately, we were there on a gloomy wet winter night ???? so not much of a view for us.

The people at Bürgli are very friendly, making the whole experience a pleasure.

Highly recommended & will definitely visit again when back in Zurich.

Second time in this restaurant, this time for a business lunch. The dining room is divided in 3 parts. During summer they have a beautiful terrace and grill option. Service is friendly and works well, although I felt some tension on my last visit among themselves. Food is well prepared and nicely presented: it’s the standard expectation for such a restaurant in Zurich. We had the business lunch, which was fish and a classic parmigiana. There was no opportunity to look at the wine list, but I vaguely recall from my first visits they had a good selection. I will see that I come again during the summer and will update the review.

Awesome restaurant and good service!
Entrecôte and Beef filet were excellent!
Service was fast and friendly
Menu card and interior could be improved
Reservation strongly recommended
The space in front has lake view but the room in the back doesn’t
The side vegetables were also awesome

Had a special beef plate, and endless french fries, and a very nice Italian wine along with some work mates, reservations were essential, great somewhat quiet setting.
