Pretty hotel with a modern clean look. The rooms are very large and clean, comfortable beds. The only issue because there's no carpeting, was a toddler running back and forth above me at night; also the adults were heavy walkers. Keep that in mind if you stay here, walk softly. There's a bakery across the parking lot so it's convenient to get a sandwich or croissant, coffee etc.

Amazing hotel and amenities. We got upgraded to a club room (booked a superior room originally) as soon as we checked in as they were having issues with their hotel systems and we could not have a more comfortable and pleasant stay.

The room had an amazing view of Zurich's financial district and surrounds, with a very dreamy and comfortable bed as well as a great bathroom (and separate toilet which was a nice surprise). The club lounge had spectacular views and a nice variety of snacks, wine and beer on tap (all self serve). In the morning the lounge had a great american breakfast which filled us up plenty. The staff were very friendly, helpful and happy to be working there. Loved the ambience of this hotel and the vibe and finished up our trip in Switzerland in style. Truly a 5 star hotel and would recommend to anyone staying for a vacation or business.

This is really a “value” hotel. 3 issues. It pretends to be 5 star with prices but (1) it caters to Viking cruises so is ever crowded with people and suitcases in n lobby. (2) is service is lacking. Example is that in lounge - which is crowded with Viking employees- does not replenished items and the 24hr rooms service takes breaks at night where it is closed for 30-60min and you are encouraged by staff to try again and (3) is very far from the central Zurich city.

As a platinum Marriott member I would say this does not meet expectations.

This was a great hotel with modern rooms, fast elevators, air conditioning. For one who has traveled around the country of Switzerland these are features you come to appreciate. The only downside to this hotel is its location, a mile or two from the center of the pound. It's located in a nondescript/office/residential concrete environment. For the price it's worth considering.

TL;DR
If you are traveling for business I would not recommend to stay here. loads of headache...

Long version:
They charged us the full amount twice on two separate cards and now one week later it is still not resolved nor are they helpful in the process.

Effectively we paid double and they insist that they cannot find the charge as if it was our job to their accounting.
We are guests not their accounting department.

This is taking up time and resources - please fix it

Marriott Platinum. Location was a nice distance away but buses/ trains ran regularly to center of town. Check-in was great, lounge offered decent selection for breakfast and an afternoon wine.

Really only needed a hotel for a quiet room to sleep and a hot shower. Since I was not there during the day. The shower was ice old. Told front desk on the way out the first day. Called the second day. They made some noises in the hall or above and the person came in and there was hot water. 10 min later ice cold again. I’ll be staying at a different Marriott property next time.

The suite room is not much of a comparison to the normal room. The suit room doesn’t even have a sofa there is just more space and it is on a higher floor. The house keeping is very poor since they didn’t help us to clean the room, they just do the bed and they didn’t even change the towels as well as clean the bathroom. I have waited a very long time and called multiple times to be able to contact their guest services and waited for them to support me too. This is very disappointing since Switzerland is considered the birthplace of hospitality. I hope this will not ruin the whole reputation of Switzerland hospitality quality.

I'd say it's a 4 star hotel, somewhat away from the center of the city. Zurich has great public transportation and there's a tram to the center half a block away. We had breakfast at the hotel, and it was very good, apart from the fact that plates were hidden away under a counter at the rear of the buffet. The hotel is near the Technopark development and is mostly the area has office buildings, rather than residential buildings, around it. There are a fair selection of restaurants within walking distance in the neighborhood and a Coop grocery a block or so away that had everything you could ask for, including a fair amount of prepared take-away food. The room had at least one standard European style two prong electrical outlet, although you will generally need the special 3 pronged Swiss plug adaptors (I'm certain the hotel would have supplied them, but we'd brought them with us.) Comfortable beds and very nice bathrooms. They do have a walk-in shower with half of back side open, so it's easy to flood the bathroom floor if you're not careful. (A lot of nicer hotels have these open showers and I can't help but thinking that it's so when you get home you'll be able to say, "The hotel bathroom was nicer, but at least I don't need to worry about flooding the floor here!") All in all a nice experience. One tip; the hotel elevators require you to use your room key inside the elevator and they take 2-3 seconds to read your card (which often don't work the first time. Each guest must do this for their floor, so it's more than a bit frustrating if it's busy,) Overall a good experience! In case anyone from the hotel is reading this, what's the story on the massive square boulder in front of the hotel entry?
