Really lovely hotel. Cute lobby. High ceilings. Quiet. Friendly staff. Comfy beds. Nice little balcony and view. Fabulous location. And dog friendly! We really enjoyed our stay!

Hotel is clean, excellent location with walking distance to all attractions, train station, etc. Good breakfast. Would recommend it!

Perfect location, friendly staff. Only negative aspect of our stay was the noise late at night from other establishments around the courtyard, throwing large numbers of glass bottles into the recycling containers.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The location is excellent and the service was very good. A very comfortable room and good breakfast made my time there perfect for vacation.

No real reception. they asked me in the evening to book breakfast for the next day offering me a discount but they tried to charge me the full price. given my grievances they calculated the cost of parking twice for me. They weren't able to get me the correct invoice again. they later sent me a credit note but I still don't know if they returned the erroneously charged €30 for parking.

The hotel is positioned very centrally and is close to all city attractions. Comparing to other hotels in the center of Zurich which are way overpriced the Opera Hotel prices are on a decent side. The rooms are not quite as advertised though. In our Superior room cushions and the bedcover was missing. The lights were not very bright either which gave the room a dingy feel. The dark carpet added to the overall 'gloom' of the interior. I would say that the rooms and the corridors of the hotel need to be updated. The lobby of the hotel however is modern and funky. I loved the robot that stood in front of the entrance. Guests could communicate with him and he was able to do such things as check in and check out, call for taxi, update on the weather, advice on city attractions and events. Surprisingly, the hotel lift is so small that only one person can fit in. It was also used by the service staff to bring/deliver things which created 'traffic jams' with guests waiting for the lift to go up or down. Overall it is a good hotel, though in need of renovation and update - especially the rooms, corridors, and the lift.
