It is a boutique hotel located in a business neighborhood. Over the weekend, most shops and restaurants are closed, even on Saturday nights. However, it is close to the lake. If you want to walk to the real city center, which offers more restaurants, cafes, and clubs, it will take you around 15-20 minutes. I would not consider it a central location unless people come here for business purposes. On the positive side, being in a very quiet location means there is no noise at night. One more plus is that the hotel rooms have recently been remodeled, featuring many new features. Additionally, please be aware that it is a boutique hotel with a limited number of rooms. If you check in early, it is highly likely that your room will not be ready, and there are no nearby attractions to explore while you wait. One unusual aspect is that the hotel entrance has a steep staircase without a handrail. When carrying large luggage, it is definitely necessary to have someone assist you. In some other countries, a hotel entrance with a deep stairway and no handrail may not be compliant with legal regulations. Furthermore, the hotel only has one very small guest elevator, which can accommodate only one person at a time.

I was debating between this hotel and the Marriott about 15 minutes away and I'm so glad I chose this one. The service is super friendly and attentive. The hotel is modern, very clean, and has just about everything you need except the restaurant and bar. I would definitely come back to this hotel the next time I'm in Zurich. It's just down the street from lake Zurich where you can have a swim or walk around the perimeter. It's about 20 minutes from Old Town.

Nice room but A/C did not work well. Room was very hot and had to have the windows open to cool off which meant dealing with loud road noise. The refrigerator was not cold either. Drinks were barely below room temperature. Will never stay here again.

Amazing location; however the air conditioning doesn’t work and we had a room next to the elevator so the bathroom and shower are almost usable. The staff is friendly, but have no answers or solutions. Also, check your bill. My daughter ordered 3 plain pancakes for breakfast and they put a very expensive full buffet on our bill. Worked out to like $10 a pancake ????. We will back to Zurich, we will not stay here.

The moment we arrived and were greeted by the sweetest girls (Olga, Yvette & Julia) at reception we knew we were going to be in for a treat. This was our last night of a 19 day holiday and it was absolutely the best hotel of the trip and we stayed at multiple places through Europe - some Marriott, some not.

The patio was a lovely treat for our morning breakfast. The fully stocked bar was above and beyond! Nicely decorated. Fell in love with the navy chairs stocked with multiple pillows. Great for settling in for a night time read. The bathroom shower stall was the first we have encountered that did not leak water on the bathroom floor. Sad, but true. On behalf of all those wearing glasses, the dispensing bottles are legible so you’re not struggling to see which is shampoo, conditioner and body wash. (Although I will add that it wasn’t in that order - but it should be .. but that’s not a complaint, ha ha ha!)

The night time service with more water, fresh towels and a cookie treat was a nice surprise. The high tech window blinds, phone chargers built into the lamps, heated bathroom floors and selection of lights depending on your mood - wow!

The location is ideal for nice walkabouts. The restaurant selection was crazy. Felt safe on the streets. Police presence was known but not unsettling.

Staff super helpful in suggestions, made reservations for us and repeatedly asked if they could assist in any way. Top notch customer service. Thanks to Olga, Yvette and Julia.

Valet service. Perfect. Even supplied some waters and Ricola for the ride. Nice.

Special shout out to Alex at the coffee shop. Always happy. Always smiling.

The rooms are SO freaking cute, beds very comfy, smart-everything. But it was 81°F in our room in early May and the hotel wouldn't turn the AC lower (even though the law is 69°F I believe? based on a call down to the front desk) Anyway. We opened the window that night and eventually it cooled down. That aside, staff was super friendly and attentive. Would still stay again

We stayed at the Neues Schloss for one night, our last night in Europe before heading to the Zurich Airport. We arrived at the hotel by 11 AM, but the charming women at the front desk let us check in so we could unload the rental car, valet park it, then went off to explore beautiful and vital Zurich. I walked to the church with the Chagall stained glass windows, such a treat. Hotel service and care was top notch.

Great experience staying here. Very friendly multi-lingual staff, rooms were modern and comfortable, gym is not onsite, location is just outside of the old town, overall I would stay here again.

Tip- Room 111 has a lovely terrace to enjoy your morning espresso.
