A great overall experience at this specialist. Already upon the first contact by telephone with the assistant I have been helped in a friendly, professional and always courteous way. The actual visit to get a divers medical certificate didn't fall short of my expectations. Fortunately there was little to no waiting time and the visit was always friendly, mindful and above all honest. I was able to ask my questions and felt that I always received a reflected, unbiased answer. I personally welcome an explanatory consultation when visiting a doctor to "understand" it more than just getting an assignment to take certain medication or do certain therapy without getting some background.
Would I recommend this doctor to my familiy and friends: Absolutely.

Came for a consultation about an ear pain. My symptoms were discussed in detail and careful examinations were performed. My partner was also treated by dr. Vass Strittmatter and received very competent diagnosis and treatment. Highly recommended.

This doctor definitely needs better bedside manners! I recently visited Dr. Strittmatter for an emergency involving sudden hearing loss after finding a recommendation for her on an English speaking forum in Switzerland. The potential solution for this emergency was either waiting to see if it resolved itself or a corticosteroid injection into my eardrum for which she referred me to a hospital. I was understandably a little freaked out by both the diagnosis of substantial hearing loss and the prospect of an injection into my eardrum, having never had any ear problems before. So I asked a few questions regarding options and risks of waiting etc which appeared to annoy her even though there were no other patients queuing up behind me at the time. I am also 24 weeks pregnant and constantly thirsty so I asked for a glass of water where upon she told me “ well there is the WC”. I then asked for a glass in which to get water from the sink, whereupon she rudely told me that all her staff wee busy and that they would attend to me when they could. Her assistant was much more pleasant and friendlier and did get me a glass of water.

Excellent experience, i felt welcomed, safe, listened to and was not prescribed any unnecessary medications or further testing, as non was needed. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Annette to anyone who is looking for a otolaryngologist.

Ich muss sagen, ich bin sehr zufrieden mit der Behanndlung von Frau Dr Vass Strittmatter. Ich konnte sehr kurzfristig vorbeikommen und wir haben mein Ohrproblem relativ schnell lösen können. Ich kann nach einem Monat immer noch sagen, dass alles ok ist. Vielen Dank dafür. 100% Empfehlung

Frau Doktor Vass ist eine äusserst angenehme Ärztin. Sie nimmt sich Zeit, um Fragen zu beantworten und hat mir sehr geholfen bei der Behandlung von Ohrenschmerzen mit Hörverminderung. Wer eine sehr nette und kompetente Hals-/Nasen-/Ohrenärztin sucht, ist bei ihr bestens aufgehoben!
