I would recommend for a through checkup, to catch all possible issues. But be careful with:
- hidden costs ("consulting" fee)
- possibly unnecessary/invasive operations
- take time away if you feel pressured for something

Dr. Sebek seemed:
- very up to date with all technologies
- catches smallest details in x-ray

However, I wasn't very happy with the following:
- too "correct" at the expense of price and time (apply cold to root of each teeth to check they still are sensitive although there is no reason to suspect otherwise, and charge well for it), at this point as a patient I could say its unnecessary but you also dont want to contradict with the doctor. I should at least know what is being done, why, at what cost, and that some might not want to pay for super detailed checks if there isnt any existing issue
- he had a strong opinion that I should do a quite invasive&expensive operation on my jaw to prevent a future probability of decay. He didnt present any alternatives, and I got the impression the condition was quite bad, felt pressured and was quite demoralized afterwards. He also charged *very* significantly for this 10 minute talk without any warning in advance. Going to other doctors for second opinion later, I learned that currently there arent any problems and I might end up never having problems if I'm careful. Even if I did have problems in future, there are alternative less invasive options. But they were impressed that he saw such a tiny detail and identified a future problem, which is why I'm very careful with this teeth today and have better chances to protect it.

Der erste Zahnarzt der mich praktisch schmerzlos behandelte. Auch erklärt er seine Arbeit und fragt nach ob alles in Ordnung ist. Auch mit der Dentalhygienikerin war ich sehr zufrieden. Auch die Assistenz Helferinnen sind sympathisch und zuvorkommend. Die Preise sind nicht unbedingt günstig aber auch nicht überrissen. Vielen Dank an das Dr. Seebek Team und ich komme nicht ungern wieder.

Bin auch seit der Kindheit hier. Ein Zahnarzt, bei dem man bleibt. Hier trifft Jahrzehhnte langes Know how auf modernste Technik in einer modernen, blitzblanken Praxis. Die aufmerksamen, fleissigen und erst noch adretten Assistentinnen möchte ich auch nicht missen.

Beim Essen "sprengte" ich mir eine langjährige Zahnfüllung eines Backenzahns. Bei Dr. med. dent. Aline Birgelen erhielt ich umgehend einen Termin. Ich schätzte die kompetente, ruhige und herzliche Kommunikation sehr. Mein Zahn ist wieder wohlauf und was mir Mut für weitere Besuche macht: Die Spitzen hatten nicht weh getan - Ehrenwort!

Bin seid der Kindheit hier und mehr als zufrieden mit der Qualität, der Beratung und den Behandlungen. Die Bedürfnisse des Patienten stehen stets im Vordergrund.

Alles gut... die Ambiance, die "Fräulein", die Sauberkeit, der Zahnarzt, Pünktlichkeit....

heute ist nicht alle tage, ich komme wieder keine frage!
