This is hotel located on a large plot of land and composed of an 19 th century impressive older building with reception area and restaurants, which was complemented with a new semi circle extension in which the bedrooms are located. The outside gives a mixed feeling: an impressive entry to the entrance building, while garden and parking lots are looking messy and not maintained.

The reception staff is very friendly and welcoming and provided all info that we wished for. A special thanks to Johnny for his great service and welcome.

The rooms are of a normal size and are well equipped with a good bathroom. Minibar is stocked quite limited.

From the room you have access to the hotel pool, but more importantly any hotel guests have free access through there own entry to the thermal pools and spa. This is a great benefit of staying at this hotel.

Breakfast is served in the historical building in a large room. The breakfast offers the usual fare although there was no mention of eggs or omelets etc. When asked we were provided with them. The rooms was quite full with guests and the staff had to work hard to arrange and clear the tables and refill the buffet.

The hotel is between a 3 and 4 star hotel category, and would need some upgrading in the areas commented upon above.

Nevertheless, the hotel is fairly priced and overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel, the access to the thermal pools and the excellent service from Johnny.

The place is clean, there are a lot of safe guards walking around.
On the other hand the cost is high for 3 big pools, the indoor pool is necessarily overfilled with cloride (it may arguably contain more than the legally allowed concentration). The outside pools are just regular and ok.
All in all a high expence for the thing it is.

The spa has two different prices: Ground floor with the pools for 25 CHF, and top floor with is for +15 years old with hammam, sauna and hot bath for an extra 24 CHF.

The ground floor has two outside pools, the first one has a dozen jets (way too little for how many people there are), is just warm enough to not get cold, though many people were jumping around to keep warm, a waterfall spraying coldish water, and a bubble bath.
The second pool was a few degrees colder, and thus had much less people. There were half a dozen bubble stations, but only 2 were working.
The inside pool has all the parents with their kids and is very noisy.

The top floor was rather nice. Quite small, with a limit on how many people can be inside (there was a moment where there was a queue of 6 people even though it was not a busy day). There are 2 very effective saunas at 90 and 70 degrees. Both very small (8 people max if crammed), but that's probably the reason they stayed so hot. 3 hammams (mixed and separate gender). Mixed hammam is significantly colder since bigger and more passage. The Japanese bath was nice (jacuzzi without bubbles or jets), and the outside pool with bubbles was pleasant to cool off.

I'm rating the spa at 2 stars since:
- for 20 CHF less, you get the same at Lavey les bains
- for 15 CHF more, you get a luxury experience at QC Terme in Chamonix

Basically, would not recommend to go there unless you live 30 minutes away.

A very nice place in almost all aspects but the water is only lukewarm. For a thermal spa I expect the water to be much hotter than this.

The bath itself was pretty relaxing. I wish there were a section for only adults (children are really cute, but also loud and love splashing around in the water), and a section with hotter water (the hottest was the one outside with 34°C).

What I didn't like is that the lockers were inside the bathing area, after you already got changed. So you have to take your jacket and shoes inside, and when you're done with the bath and dripping wet, you have to get your jacket, shoes and bags and take them into a small changing cabin. That was a bit of a hassle.

Beautiful photos, but inside very old building, better go to Charmey Spa.
Sauna you need go on floor 3, small sauna, only , wait 15 minutes queue, because many people.
I never go here again.

Enjoyed the stay - can't complain one bit - Thermal pools were amazing a comfortable 32' while it was snowing ????

The Detente area is really nice. The pools are ok, but not amazing.
