What a pleasure to stay here. They've thought of everything. Umbrellas, sewing kits and coffee machines in the room. And heaven, a yoga mat!

The staff are friendly, the food is great, the bedroom was huge, comfortable and equipped with the best shower I've ever used.

They didn't put a step wrong. A brilliant stay. Thank you, Sorell.

Nice hotel in the old town of Winterthur. Very nice rooms, well maintained.
The only reason why I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars is because there's nobody at the reception over the night. If you arrive late, make sure to ask for the entrance lock code before arrival, otherwise you will not be able to enter the hotel.

Peggy at the front desk is AWESOME. She was very helpful. Because I already parked at the train station and it was late, she explained that it would be fine to stay parked at the train station. I was a bit frazzled when I checked in from all of my travel. And had some trouble finding the hotel. Peggy was very nice and helpful.

You can drive up the pedestrian road to check in and drop off bags. I think the hotel has a garage around the corner. Or park at the train station and walk about 10 minutes to hotel. I believe that the train stations is probably the cheapest parking, 25-30 CHF per 24-hrs. Or don't even bring a car. Just take the train from the airport and take a taxi or walk to hotel.

The room is great. Very nice. Large shower head, plenty of room. The room has one, 2-prong European outlet and 4 or more USB power for cell phones. The rest are 3-prong. Swiss outlets.

The hotel is right in the heart of the old town. I will definitely be coming back because of Peggy, the accommodations and the location.

My family and I stayed at the hotel for a long weekend. We are a family of 5 with 3 children (ages 11-16). The hotel and the staff were absolutely fabulous! They had superb customer service, excellent food (my husband who travels and stays in exquisite hotels said the food was outstanding), great attention to detail and were professional and friendly in equal measure! We have stayed in many hotels in Switzerland and this was the best so far!! We can’t wait to come back!

Its a very nice hotel in perfect location in the old town of Winterthur. It is quiet, clean and beautiful. The service and the staff is first class.
For my taste is the design of the light switches a bit too much sophisticated. More simple would have been better, as it would also fit better to the classical style of the hotel.

Central place, great people..challenging with parking as when there is a market it is impossible to park in the hotel parking

Overall fantastic, small faults...scrambled egg for bf was burnt every day....bed was not done one in 5 nights, water was never refilled......

But otherwise lived it all and would go back
