We've tried the "surprise dinner" on a weekday. The restaurant is not big but luckily the tables are far enough from each other. The atmosphere and the kindness of the chef/assistant is amazing. We also asked for additional dish and a dessert. Everything was delicious and the wine pairings were perfect too. We will definitely visit again to try again!

The food was superb. The whole Trübli-Team was courteous and showed a lot of heart for the ambience and their food. I find the Surprise menu very exciting and there was always the perfect wine to go with it. Highly recommended if you want to eat out really well and extraordinarily.

This restaurant in the center of Winterthur is really worth the visit. They work with surprise menu prepared with seasonal ingredients. The dining room is a bit old school, and it looks like a traditional Swiss restaurant. However, cooking is modern and creative. The service is extremely knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly. They have a great wine list, and also an option with wine pairing (not bad). Prices are adequate for the quality you get. Highly recommended.

Place is split in a bar and restaurant section
Staff is friendly
It is rather on the pricey side, but justified, food is really good.
If you can't find anything as a vegetarian, you can ask the staff and they will figure out something well.
They offer multiple course menus.
They have a wine card.
I think a saw a michelin award or some other kind of award on the way to the toilets.

Menu with six different small meals is incredible and that eight years old cheese was delicious. The bread with onion butter as a starter was also soooo delicious. Each meal had its own story, explained in details, just wonderful.

It’s more than just back - former ‘Bunter Hund’ Team surprises now with a far more sophisticated menu, where you can taste the passion and see the love for details in its presentation. I highly recommend to choose the delicious wine to accompany the menu - best selections by the sommelier. The whole experience has its price, but is worth every Rappen. We had a great evening at the Trübli - thanks!

First visit since the new hosts Alex and Ramona have taken over. The concept, the food, the details - everything fits perfectly - so sit back and enjoy the culinary journey!
