The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The food at the restaurant is excellent. We stayed three nights and ate at the restaurant each day for breakfast and dinner. The food is very well prepared and the portions are generous. The service is genuinely friendly and attentive in the way which one can only find at a smaller establishment when one is served by the owners. This is the ideal home base when visiting St. Gallen and the Appenzell.

The warm and attentive attention from the owners, in particular Claudia was so special and makes one feel so welcomed and even part of the family. The breakfast was wonderful and served in a lovely manner, each day new types of bread were offered, for long stays, you cannot be bored by what was offered. The location was very good, beds and room very comfortable. i would highly recommend this "hotel" (more like a "second home") and i hope to return soon.

We were there on duty and were taking lunch from the menu. Very friendly staff. They have a daily offer on their menu and as well an vegetarian dish. We were also taking some rooms for meetings and exchange. It was my first time there and I am looking forward to visit the place again.

Wir haben hier zu viert bei einem feinen Mittagessen einen Geburtstag gefeiert.
Köstliches Menü, schöne Atmosphäre, absolut toller Service, sogar mit einer Prise Humor. Wunderbar! Es hat uns allen gefallen!

Die Bilder täuschen leider etwas. Positiv sind definitiv die Betten. Ansonsten altes Bad, alter Teppich. Frühstück überschaubar

Die Freundlichkeit der Inhaber ist anfangs sehr freundlich, was dann aber relativ schnell abnimmt. Ich würde es aufgesetzt nennen.
