Good restaurant managed in a familiar way with interesting dishes.

Positive: The accommodation was basic but comfortable. The beds were lovely and the duvets incredibly cosy. They had a bike storage area which had CCTV so I felt very happy leaving my bikes there. The restaurant served traditional Swiss fare, it was reasonably priced and tasty.. Negative: I thought it was a little expensive for what it is. It is basically a private roomed hostel; purpose built wooden boxes inside a barn conversion. If it was full then I think it would be quite noisy..

Positive: nice shower ( new). Negative: Cheap furniture including bedding, the room is very basic. The windows faced the rear of the restaurant kitchen with continious noise from the ventilation. Ok for one night max if there are no other options.

In late October, 2017, I spent four nights at Gasthaus Ochsen. This small guesthouse offers comfortable, if somewhat spartan accommodations. My room was small, clean and quiet. Wifi (W-Lan) access was included in the room price, and Internet connectivity was great. For Switzerland, the price was quite reasonable. Recommended.

Ich möchte meine Begeisterung für das Gasthaus Ochsen teilen, das ein wirklich ausgezeichnetes Cordon bleu serviert. Als Liebhaber dieser klassischen Spezialität war ich überwältigt von der Qualität und dem Geschmackserlebnis, das mir dort geboten wurde.

Die Servicequalität war ebenfalls hervorragend. Das Personal war aufmerksam, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sie waren stets bereit, Empfehlungen auszusprechen und sicherzustellen, dass die Gäste rundum zufrieden sind. Die angenehme Atmosphäre und das einladende Ambiente trugen zu einem rundum gelungenen Besuch bei.
