Praxis Intakt is the most magical, precious gem in all of Switzerland, and I feel very lucky to have found Frau Claudia Egger. You could never find a better place – do not hesitate for a moment. They will help you to improve beyond compare, and you will enjoy every moment of your rehabilitation. If you want somewhere you can feel safe and heard while also being pushed outside your comfort zone to significantly benefit, Praxis Intakt is the place for you. You will most certainly be in excellent hands, among smiling faces.
Everything about this clinic and the way it is run is the embodiment of a labour of love, and that is evident in every session, exercise, conversation and interaction. The team are the most friendly, punctual, proficient specialists offering a wide range of therapies and treatments, and the clinic is so well equipped with all kinds of machines and tools.
In over six months of sessions, I have never once had the same session repeated - every session is different with new exercises and techniques, and there is never a dull moment. Who knew physiotherapy could be this exciting? Praxis Intakt apparently.
It is very clear that Frau Claudia Egger and the rest of the team love what they do and sincerely care about patients, down to the smallest details in a vibrant, arty, elegant, cosy, spotlessly clean and well-organised clinic. I had never before experienced this level of comprehensive comfort in any physiotherapy setting.
I can truly, hand-on-heart say that Frau Claudia Egger is the most incredible, skilled, friendly, creative, conscientious, supportive, motivating, hard-working, uplifting, trustworthy and caring person and professional I have ever met in any kind of health environment, across all the countries in which I’ve lived and worked (and been unwell). I owe her so much, and I wish I could be more like her in my own life and work. Within six months, she has me safely jumping on my problematic ankle. When I first came to see her, I was scared to even tiptoe. I am stronger now than I have ever been physically, and I am much less afraid and hesitant, and that is all thanks to her.
I am (clearly) an expat, and Frau Claudia Egger has generously helped me with so much, well beyond the scope of spiral dynamic physiotherapy (at which she excels), including with referrals and information and resources and supplements... She is very highly qualified, has a wide range of experience and expertise, and is just so knowledgeable and resourceful. She’s also the nicest person. Her English is excellent, which to someone still learning German (and startled by Swiss German) is so reassuring. She has the best sense of humour, which helps me to keep going when I’m tired or in pain. It makes such a huge difference to your life when your physiotherapist is a ray of sunshine. There's a reason everybody loves her.
With such a high level of professionalism (and with how understandably popular they are), it is rare to find such humble, approachable, well-liked people who are also the best in the business. If I were the mayor of St Gallen, I would give Frau Claudia Egger the key to the city. By my British standards, she certainly deserves a Damehood from the King himself. She is a modern-day saint and miracle worker. I will forever be grateful.
